I did extensive research about cheap Chinese HUD market. This model is fairly new and its product model num is A100S. Its Chinese OEM product so youll see same HUD with different names all over. This is one of popular HUD in Asian market. Its slowly coming to the U.S market. Took me a while to find this model that ships from U.S. Amazon was only place that ships from U.S. Ebay has bunch but all ships from China.Its small yet functional HUD. Brightness is somewhat bright but you are still going to have problem reading in direct sunlight. Included reflective film fixes the problem but i dont want a film on the windshield.I had reboot issue at first. It would reboot after showing 0.0km everytime car started and stay off. It was problem with setup. My car was hybrid so i had to change the menu 13 to 1 for hybrid vehicles. Now it works perfectly fine.I had another HUD but wanted something smaller. Check out the difference. No more huge hump.I did not have to change speed setting. Speed was on point with the speedometer in my car.It comes with 4x5 inch film, hud, cable, and 3 quarter size double sided tape. Its not cheap white double sided tape. Its dark grey 3m automotive double sided tape.I have it installed in my 2016 Lexus ES300H. Its should work on other Toyota Hybrid system(Prius, Camry Hybrid, Avalon Hybrid, etc). Just to make sure to set the menu 13 to 1.

I installed this in my “new” 2016 Lincoln MKZ. In my previous car I had an old Garmin GPS mounted on the windshield which I used primarily used to monitor my speed. The MKZ comes with Navi, so the Garmin is no longer needed.....but apparently I must check my speed constantly, because after two or three days I was going through major heads up display speed withdrawal! I found this unit on Amazon and decided to try it. I’m glad I did! It plugs right into the OBD port underneath the dash, and comes with a long, flat cord that easily tucks into the seam at the base of the windshield and the dash, as well as the seam by the A pillar. If you’re careful, You can make the cord barely noticeable. (Or If you don’t care, leave it out.) The unit powers up automatically when you start the car and shuts down when you turn it off. No worries about drained batteries. As far as the performance of the display itself, I opted not to use the included reflector film, and I can see it just fine. The only drawback Is that It can be a little difficult to calibrate and, to be honest, Its never going to be 100% right. Mine is spot on at 30, but +1mph at around 50 and +2/3 mph at speeds over 70. But for under $25 and a ‘plug and play’ install, It’s close enough for me!

The film must be used to reduce the glare and double reflection from the windshield though. The car already has digital speedometer but this helps keep my eyes on the road. It matches perfectly to the speedometer without calibration. Loving it so far.

Nothing about this works. The adjustment dial doesn't respond as it is supposed to (I could never even get it to change from km to miles). The display almost immediately threw up an warning light about my car's battery. My car has its own trouble report display on the computer screen - this indicated no problems. Later the HUD lit up another red icon and started beeping insistently about the battery. Still no problem indicated by my car's own systems, and it started multiple times afterward that day with no problems.This is a real shame because the HUD display design is nice, and it requires no separate power supply block or cigarette lighter plug like others do - just a single cable to the OBD II port like it ought to. But it simply doesn't work, and I'll be returning it. (Before installing an after-market HUD like this make sure it actually works, since getting the installation just right can take time, and many of these devices seem to have problems.)

The packaging and setting up are simple, and the instructions are in English, easy to understand.It works perfectly on my 2015 X6.If you're looking for a HUD which shows succinctly and is fully functional. This will be your best choice and the price is good.Compared with the products on the market, I summarized several advantages and disadvantages of this product. 1.The display is more concise and clear, and the price is lower. It can also be seen in the case of direct sunlight. The brightness auto-adjustment function is very powerful, and the display at night is not dazzling.2.It is easy to install, and the flat cable can be well hidden. It is suitable for vehicles produced after 2008. The workmanship is good and small which can be difficult to perceive its existence. 4. I did not use the reflective film, because the glass structure results in a little overlap, but it is far lower than other products (Personally speaking,I can still accept this problem, because the windshield display is very clear).5. At the beginning, the speed display is not 100% accurate, and there is a small difference in numerical value. I compared the value difference between the speed of the vehicle and HUD, and I adjusted the default finger from 108 to 104, and now the speed is very accurateThis is an excellent product with a high cost performance. It is more wonderful than the HUD worth more than 30 dollars
