So cute and nostalgic
I absolutely love this Tamagotchi. The Lovely Angel design is adorable, and it brings back so much nostalgia while still being fun to play with now. It works exactly as expected, the buttons are responsive, and the screen is clear. It’s small enough to carry around easily and makes a great little stress reliever or throwback gift. If you grew up with Tamagotchis or just want something cute and simple to play with, this one is definitely worth it.

Love this toy
This toy just brought back all the joy and nostalgia of the 90's. It was exactly as I remembered when I was a kid. The plastic casing was well made and the designs were very cute. This brought me a lot of joy and I even got my nieces hooked into getting their own Tamagotchi's as well.

Great toy for a great price
I bought this for my 8yo for Christmas and she hasn’t put it down. For the amount of attention she’s given it, it’s a bunch of bang for my buck. I enjoy hearing how she has to take timeout to feed and clean and play with her little pet, so I’m hoping she’ll learn a little bit of responsibility too.

Pretty great!
I thought that 30$ was a crazy price, it is a learning curb, but once you learn, it’s actually pretty great! One of the issues that was at the keychain is kind of hard to open.

Nostalgic entertainment
I never had a classic Tamagotchi as a kid, but I realized as an adult, with money, I can finally indulge in this virtual pet experience! I love the swirly colourful case, and the whole unit is a lot lighter than I was expecting for some reason. I am only just slightly annoyed that the price sometimes varies so much per case design, which feels kinda arbitrary considering the gameplay is exactly the same on each unit from what I can tell. The screen is pretty clear, though seeing the menu selection items under certain lighting conditions is really difficult. I have had no trouble using the original battery it came with; the battery life seems reasonable to me. On my first play my Tama got the PeterPan glitch; it refused to grow up, and suddenly died for no reason at all (I was obsessively monitoring it). After I unscrewed the battery case (which was not an easy task and needed a tiny screwdriver), took out the battery for a few minutes, and pressed the reset button for good measure, the second Tama evolved into a child just fine. It is really fun to play, and for the most part the Tamas do not seem to be quite as needy as I was anticipating, so I'm glad I don't have to quite so obsessively keep track of their needs. The one 'which side' guessing game can feel a little frustrating and it would be nice to have another game mode, but I suppose this is the original classic experience, so I appreciate that for what it is. I do wish the alert sound for when the Tama has pooped was much louder (if there is any sound at all, I've never been able to catch it), because it makes keeping the Tama clean a bit harder than when say, its needs are critically low, or it gets sick for some reason, or needs disciplining.

Brings back memories
Seems like some bugs but maybe thats part of the magic. Had one as a kid, got one for my kid. Fun to play with etc.
