Excellent book

Revolutionaries all over the world paid great price to get their country freedom from foreign rulers. Mr Mandela remained in Jail for such a long time that he could not attend the last rites of his mother and could not see his children grow. His wife had to suffer oppression from white rulers. After a long struggle and sacrifice by a large number of ordinary people and leaders at last freedom was achieved. A very moving tale of exemplary sacrifices .

A wonderful book. A vivid description of the long and arduous freedom struggle spanning over thirty years - with heaps of torture & injustice meted to him. And yet it doesn’t shake his faith in basic goodness of men - finally brings them to negotiations and achieves freedom for his people. A GREAT HERO Dr. MANDELA.

A book every one needs to read. How a small boy from an African village dreams of getting independence for his country and achieves it for his countrymen, even if he has to remain behind bars for 27 and half years. Equality for everyone was his motto and no matter how many hardships he had to undero, he acheived it. Salute to Mr. Nelson Mandela. Hope everyone finds inspiration in him.
