Disappointing
These are my views after a month of using this product.Pros:- Excellent bass response. In fact, it's one of the best in market. If you want to listen all the way down to 20Hz, these headphones will not disappoint.- Mediocre noise isolation. The noise isolation is fair compared to open-ear headphones, but bad compared to most IEM earphones.Cons:- The headband compression force is far too much. The headphones get pretty painful to wear for long periods of time.- The headphones are somewhat on-ear, not over-ear (like the product description says) and all that massive compression force is on the ears partially. That definitely hurts after a while.- Weird peak at about 1.5KHz makes both voices and instruments annoyingly harsh. The sounds too get pretty painful. Thankfully, equalizers help tame that peak, and make the headphones more bearable.- The headband is not large enough. I have an average sized head, and I have to extend the headband to its maximum extent. Anyone with a large head would find this completely unusable.Others:I bought this on lightning sale for 2,714 INR, it's not on sale at the time of writing, but is offered for 2,499 INR. Don't trust lightning sale prices.Edit: After 6 months of use, the compression strength has reduced enough that it doesn't hurt to wear it for long periods of time. With this comes a whole new level of egregiousness that I had not foreseen. Notice that I wrote that the headphones compress ears. That makes the area behind the ears extremely sweaty. I got an infection behind one ear for the first time in my life! I had given the product 2-stars, but now I feel I was being too generous.

Sennheiser headphones👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent headphones. Very high quality ones, better than I expected. I mix music as a hobby. So I needed a good headphone that wasn’t too expensive but has good audio quality. I am very happy with it. The base is clearly audible and even minute instrumental is heard with clarity. Noise cancellation isn’t all that great but it works for me. The only thing I need to point out is that the chord length is very long. Apart from that it’s an excellent device

Best headphone under 3k
Great quality of Sound. Better than JBL t450. And it is quite awesome. The sound is really crisp and the bass to is perfect and most of all the comfort is so nice.

Good quality but bad comfort
The sound quality is good. I'm surprised at the loudness of the headphone. I hardly keep system volume at 40% and still it is loud.Even the mic is good for video calls. I use it during my work for MS Teams video calls and the mic is very clear. The main issue with the headphone is that after 20 mins your ears start hurting. If you are planning to buy this for team calls generally less than 30 mins then go for it. But if you are planning to buy it for movies, better look for other options since ears start hurting like hell after 45mins.

Not recommend for long continuous use
I am a big sennheiser fan. Honestly i didn't like this product that much. This headphone is really painful to ears. After a continuous 1 hour use ear hurts badly, u would realize the pain only after taking it off from your head. My ears turned red in such a situation. I have an average head size, even then i have to fully extend the headphon to use.The sound quality is good. Feels the surrounding sound pretty well.I had a huge expectation on this product but i am disappointed. This is not recommended for long time continues use. I got this for 2500. It worth only 2000 - 2500 rupees.

Great
Been using it for nearly a month now and enjoying it.The sound, as expected from a Sennheiser, is really really good. Please don't get into technicalities. If you are a music lover and on a budget then go for these. Use it for atleast 15-20 days before forming an opinion. If you have been using highbass/extra bass headphones prior to using these, as I have done, you will understand the difference. The clarity in this Sennheiser is far higher and you will hear notes you never thought existed in the music, believe me.There are a few cons too though. One, the cord is very very long and you have to keep a big portion of it rolled up while using the phone to prevent it from getting entangled. Anyway, thats a minor headache. Some people, I guess people with big heads, may find the headphone a bit too tight for comfort. For me the fit was perfect and that enhanced the listening pleasure. Sennheiser HD206 which I brought for my daughter at the same time is far more comfortable, but soundwise this is way ahead.

Good Overall quality and sound
The headphone is a bit tight on the head if your head is big. Inspite of being tight the oitside sound isolation is not good. The ear cups are soft but can get itchy in warm surroundings. Built quality is good and sturdy as the brand has always been at its best. I have been using this brand since I was 16. The sound is great but bass is not how much bass lovers would like it to be but even with high bass songs it performs well and does not hurt the ear at high treble.Good overall product on the whole but its a bit pricey.

A low quality high priced product by Sennheisser
It is supposed to be a DJ headphone. What kind of DJ would listen to music without bass? No kind!!! Absolute worthless product. I have used two Sennheiser headphones and they've never disappointed me. And after 10-15 mins, your ears start paining. These are not comfortable headphones.

The Best
I have owned and gone through a lot of headphones and always steered away from the more higher priced quality professional headphones for the studio. I was using JVC's for a long time which would last for a good few years and there would be brand new set to if these ever packed up.Then one day I tried a pair of second hand Sennheiser HD205 II and was hooked.Comfort excellent, Sound and everything about suits me fine.Hearing ranges differ from one person to another so not all are going to agree with my review, but this is my review and the headphones suit me fine.So I have a few sets of these, but the one thing I find with all of them, no matter how careful you are with the leads the plug is not strong and will weaken within around 6 months of use and then getting the on off left or right speaker messing about.. I usually cut the plug off from new, solder a much stronger not plug, but a socket at the end of the lead instead and then use an extension lead.By using a socket instead of a plug you have the ability then to bend the socket back on itself against the lead, then with the help of two very small cable ties the cable is kept in place. On a set of these headphones brand new I have had no problems with the plug giving up and these have been going for around two years, that is the only criticism of these headphones the plug is weak.

A decent set of headphones for an affordable price
I bought these to replace a set of old HD 435's that had suffered from a faulty audio jack. I can honestly say that the HD205s are easily comparable in quality to the old 435s.So far the sound quality seems quite reasonable, as standard they provide a fairly crisp sound that lets you hear all the little details in your favourite music tracks. When paired with an amp or a digital equaliser the quality is simply excellent. From what I can tell, the build quality is fairly substantial, with none of the plastic parts feeling too brittle or fragile, the cups seem rather solid and don't suffer from any rattling or unwanted vibrations like the old 435's sometimes had. The padding on the headphones is good enough so that they aren't uncomfortable to wear, the head strap padding is certainly more plentiful than on some older Sennheiser headphones. The only problems I can see with this product is that the cups are actually quite small and even with my 'average' sized ears they took a while to stretch to fit them. I've found that the occasional song can sound quite tinny with these headphones, although this is nothing that a quick fiddle with any equalisation methods can't fix. I'm also concerned about the cable as it seems quite thin, whereas other users have stated that it doesn't seem to tangle as easy as other cables, I'm currently not entirely convinced. If it weren't for these problems i'd give the headphones 5 stars, but on the plus side these were only £40, a similar price that I paid for my old HD435s, so I hardly feel cheated out of my money.

TOO TIGHT!!!
The sound quality is great but how is it possible to appreciate it after two hours when your ears start to hurt and go red? The other reviews state that the headphones are too tight, and this is very true.I would give less stars if not the sound quality but if you're an adult with average sized head I do not recommend, I thought I could stretch them or something but they were really tight anyway. Had to return, impossible to enjoy music when your ears hurt after short use.

IGNORE THE REST THESE ARE THE BEST!!
I've been in the music industry as a singer, DJ, etc. and so have used my headphones for speech, recording vocal and instrumental tracks and studio mixing. These are my second pair as my first pair though still working fine are very old and in need of a rest as the stand-by pair. The bass, mid, and treble responses are awesome, I can't recommend them enough!

These sounded pretty decent for their price
These sounded pretty decent for their price... until they stopped working properly. It seems that there is a dodgy connection along the cable somewhere, so it sounds like they are mono instead of stereo. The fault can be reduced with some fiddling of the cable. I have not even had these very long so am pretty disappointed. My other gripe with these, as I have read other reviewers say, they are really uncomfortable. After about 30 mins or so they hurt quite a bit. They seem very tight around the ears/sides of the head which results in headaches and just general soreness. I use these instead of speakers so I wear them for hours every day, also for music production, so the discomfort is an issue for me.All in all, I wouldn't buy these again... I'd even go as far as to say I would avoid Sennheiser after the last two pairs of their headphones I have owned have become useless after less than a year.
