GENERIC Ultra-Mini Bluetooth CSR 5.0 USB Dongle Adapter for Windows Computer (Black:Golden)

Update 1: Earlier I had Fitbit provided USB dongle to sync my trackers along with USB 2.0 Enter dongle, both worked fine when plugged in. However with this I had issues (in Windows 10), so I removed the Fitbit dongle and voila! No issues. Surprisingly enough, just with this, the Fitbit Windows app syncs all my trackers! It syncs Blaze, Charge HR & Charge without the need for Fitbit's dongle, I guess Fitbit app just needs BT 4.0 LE and the dongle has nothing proprietary. So folks with broken/lost Fitbit dongles and who wish to sync via PC, get this dongle! Its cheap when compared to Fitbit's offering. I just love this dongle!Supports aptX like two other people mentioned, using this with my HD 4.40BT and works like a charm. Can use it throughout my 2BHK apartment.Have connected it to a USB 3.0 port and the speeds are good. Transferred 50MB video file to my phone (3T) in around 5-6 minutes, this is 4.0 to 4.1 (technically still 4.0) transfer.Using Windows 10 and didn't face the need to use the given mini cd for drivers, Windows took care of it.Buy this with confidence.

This is good when it connects but getting it work on a desktop is a nightmare. It maybe my piece but it is so horrible. It worked well for the first few days and as soon as the return period of amazon was over, it started giving me problems. First of all, i wanted this to connect it to my senheisser studio headphones for monitoring audio of my editing. My headphone jacks keep busting and I didn’t want to invest in a usb system so bought this. I would not give such a bad review if all it did was stop working. However, this dongle damaged something of my Senheissers! They can connect to multiple devices at a time. Bu after using this dongle to connect them to my pc, they couldn’t connect with any other devices. I usually keep them connected to my phone and ipad all day. But after using this dongle to connect them to my pc, they stopped connecting to 2 devices. They only connected with either my phone or ipad at a time. I totally hate whoever made this crappy dongle. It’s one thing if your dongle stops working and its other when it damages your studio headphones! I somehow got my senheissers fixed with a lot of RnD (couldn’t afford sending them to the service centre as I couldn’t wait the usual 10-15 days it takes them to send it back). In short, don’t get this dongle unless you wanna blow up your expensive headphones.

this is actually a pretty good Bluetooth USB Adapter through which you can connect any Bluetooth enabled device like phone , speaker , headset etc to your PC or laptop . i bought this as my wired speaker has low volume and i have a Bluetooth speaker with a high volume which i wanted to connect to my PC without having to buy a new wired speaker . i have checked on this Bluetooth USB Adapter on 3 different systems on which WIN XP , 7 and 10 are installed and works fine on all three , just make sure to install the software from the Driver installation CD first and then try to connect your Bluetooth device to your PC . only downside is the 3 - month warranty ; devices such as these may not last long if used for long hours daily and after a few months you may be forced to buy a new one . all in all a good buy considering the price.

well i have used this product for almost month and as i wanted that job to be done when i connect it with my pc. so overall it is Good product. the problems i have faced like:1) Range is the problem like even from going to room to the kitchen it fails to connect with device.2) when go at minimal distance from device the sound quality starts affecting.3) it is Bluetooth 4.0 & no drivers CD is provided with it so in my case it have downloaded directly from net not a big issue.4) this i found bit problematic as when i just turn off bluetooth device from computer settings and turn on while device is still connected with pc it fails to connect the device & detecting it majorly so i just have to plug off & then plug in the device & it work without any problem.I have tried to connect this device with following devices:a) SoundOne bluetooth headset while listening music,watching videos, movies.b) Boat Rockerz 255 Sports while listening music,watching videos, movies.c) OnePlus 7 pro for transferring files with PC (doesn't give any issue so far)overall it get Job done. so i am satisfied with product

I ordered 2 of these as they were cheap, tiny and had good reviews. They are every bit as good as I expected them to be. They can stream music to my bluetooth earphones across 1 brick wall (9 inch thick) easily and can almost pull of uninterrupted connection across 2 such walls (ie, the stream stutters, but you can find certain angles where you can get good connections). The range (including the walls) was easily over 10 feet and over 20 feet without the wall in between. I did not bother stress testing the range further as I was already in my balcony by now and didn't want to fall off it.Regarding setup - it was plug and play (windows automatically downloads its driver) and needed no more than one minute to setup. I have tested it on both windows 7 and windows 8.Excellent product. Five stars.

The device is not working at all. It install itself, but then there is a yellow exclamation sign on Windows 10. There is no CD with it though mentioned on product page.In properties it shows "Generice Bluetooth Radio" and a YELLOW EXCLAMATION mark. I tried to search on Google, it says, the driver has to be re-installed. Tried it several times but it does not work. The error shown is:This device cannot start. (Code 10){Operation Failed}The requested operation was unsuccessful.I am clueless on how to fix this now. :(I uninstalled bluetooth driver and re-installed all drivers. The yellow warning is gone and i could see BLUE Light on USB Dongle, but it is not conecting with my JBL Bluetooth Headset.
