Look very good without painting, fairly easy to assemble!
This model kit was my first foray into Gunpla. I was a little intimidated by ratings like "Master-Grade" and whatnot, but those names really are just marketing to make the model seem more valuable. I can safely say as a beginner that I was able to build this model casually over the course of a couple of weeks without much trouble, and it looks great! You WILL need, at the minimum, the following to build this kit comfortably: - Nice sharp model nippers/flush-snips (Some of the pieces are quite small and fragile, so don't skimp on this) - A hobby knife - Sanding/buffing/polishing apparatuses (tri-grit sanding sticks are what I used) I also used the following to really give the finished product a "professional" feel: - Gundam pour-type ink pens for panel lining (these are VERY easy to use and markedly improve the look of the model) - Tweezers for applying some of the very small decals - A matte top-coat spray can (makes the model look less plastic-y) All of the above tools cost me less than $50, but the extra cost is still there so consider it. The kits articulation is quite good, it's very poseable. It has tons of gimmicks that are fun too: the back-mounted thrusters open by pulling on the little stabilizer wing and they have a multi-point articulated opening action. The waist-boosters also open up. The Dober gun has recoil action as well which is cool. The kit comes with a LOT of decals. I couldn't believe how many I ended up applying to this thing. The sticker-type decals are OK, not great. At a distance, you can't tell and they look fine, but up close they are really apparent. The kit also comes with dry-transfer decals, which are actually quite easy to apply when you learn how, and look really, really good up-close. They are mainly the larger decals. Overall I would say it was a great first model for me, and anyone else who wants to get into model-building and has a fond rememberence of the Lightning Count from Gundam Wing!

Tallgeese - Heavy Arm's Speedy Cousin
Comparing this to the MG Heavy Arms, I have to say, this one wins! Now, I do love both suits, but this one gives a bit more than the Heavy Arms. Getting right into it, this suit comes with the Dober Gun, 2 beam sabers (hooked in the shield), and a shield. It also comes with a variety of decals (like over 60) to slap on nearly all over the kit! It comes with a visor sticker that goes inside the head and some red dot stickers that go on the chest and waist. Also, it has some yellow decals that go on the wings yet all the other parts like around the shield for instance are already colored in yellow. And if you look around the suit, it has a bunch of thrusters which are on the back of the waist, in front of the waist, and on the sides. Even more, it has a backpack with 2 turbines/jets to add an even more awesome look to it! The only real bad things with this kit is those yellow stickers for the wings (they popped off a couple times), the visor (it is a clear part with the sticker inside the head), and the set is very heavy so you can't pose it without an MG stand (you can but mine fell over many times with the slightest bump to it). One more thing, the ankles have a part that tends to fall off pretty easily, but it just needs to be snapped back in which isn't a big deal but can be annoying if you accidentally mess with it. The Tallgeese altogether though is a very amazing suit. It has an excellent inner frame and if you invest in a stand, you can extend the thrusters out and pull off some real sweet poses. Plus the gimmicks are endless with all the thrusters as stated are able to pop out, you can hook the shield to and the gun to the shoulder mounts to pull off some even cooler poses, and there is a spring you put in the dober gun that allows it to extend in and extend out the canon which is pretty sweet! So, if your looking for a difficult build that pays off if you put some hours into it, this is truly the kit for you!

Amazing mg kit
Amazing kit. The tallgeese is as always amazing and sticks out not really hard to build either. The gun has a spring in the barrel to mimic the recoil of the gun only issue I see is the visor is clear instead of light blue like it should be.

Mg tallgeese is an all around solid kit
Mg tallgeese is an all around solid kit. It was simple and interesting to put together. The design and colours are appealing and work together to create a very unique and detailed mobile suit. With tallgeese's headpiece, shield and rounded armor, its difficult not to draw parallels to a greco-roman warrior of some sort. The kit comes with a set of stickers and dry transfer decals which can add more detail to the finished model. The posability and movement of mg tallgeese is pretty good, although it is slightly backheavy. It also has a decent amount of weapons and gimmicks. The shield and gun each connect to the upper arms by a few pivoting parts, which give the weapons a good range of motion. The gun has a spring-loaded front barrel and the tallgeese's jetpack and back skirts open up to reveal thrusters for flight. There are also two curved, red beam sabers included and the hilts can be stored behind the shield. The only minor complaint about this kit are the 2 yellow stickers used for the jetpacks wings. For its price range however, mg tallgeese is a worthwhile purchase and an all around solid kit.

Awesome kit, really striking, loads of gimmicks (hidden thrusters, opening/retracting backpack), easily one of the best posing kits ive built to date - amazing how the armor round the legs works with the kits movements. Only gripe is that he is slightly back/heavy if you have everything retracted (cannon etc.). Looks fantastic panel lined & a nice coat of satin
