Needs better stakes and suction cup...
I bought this to use on the beach and where I live, it gets really windy. I had setup this canapy a handful of times and it takes me 15-20 minutes to setup by myself (easier w/extra hand to keep it from blowing away like a kite). It's like setting up a tent. The material is a tent/umbrella fabric so if you're gentle with it, it will do the job of providing shade. Unfortunately one day it got really windy and the canopy caved inward and aluminum pole bent... I knew it wasn't a military grade canopy and wasn't meant to hold up in 15mph winds so I was okay with it. Additionally the stakes and suction cups it came with were useless. It wasn't going to stick or hold in place. So I recommend purchasing tent stakes at a hardware store for $5. The canopy worked great after that. I could of bought better suction cups for a $1 each but I just tie the canopy to my wheel and it worked just fine. Overall, I like the canopy because it does the job and the price was good. I like the fact that it folds up into a small bag, while everyone around me has big bulky fold up canopies that take a couple or a few people to set up. I compared this canopy with other suv canopies on Amazon but they all sounded the same, just the price difference.

Meets my needs well and great service!
I purchased this product because I was sick of hauling around a heavy 10'x10' EzUp-type tent. This product fits my needs well as it is 20% of the weight and still ends up being sturdy enough mounted with magnets to an SUV open hatch. In addition, Auperto service was excellent! I had a small problem with one of the folding stakes (orange aluminum assembly). I sent them a picture of the issue after opening the delivery. They emailed back within 12 hours and said, not only would allow me to keep the tent and defective part and that they would ship me out a brand new replacement. Superb!

I wonder if there is something better out there.
The concept is great and assembly not too bad, however the quality of the material is not that great. The canopy itself is very thin and not very rip resistant. While folding, a piece of the tent got caught under a chair leg and when I tugged on it, caused a small rip. The tent poles are not that quality either. The elastic inside should keep the poles very taught and the sections should fit snugly into each other. I found them to be flimsy and very thin poles. I have experience backpacking for 20 years so I know my tent poles. Also, the caps on the end of the poles flew right off on at least three of the four ends I was working with. Had to chase them down on the ground. This product would be really good if they used quality tent poles and a more thicker denier count. For the price it does the trick but I don't expect it to last more than 10 uses if that.

Poles are pretty thin!
So I read a few reviews before I bought this product and most people said that the poles are weak.So I bought 2 extra poles and thank goodness I did. Was camping and had a large storm past through and if it wasn't for the extra beefy poles that I added to one end. The canopy would have blown away. The canopy definitely adds shelter to the campsite. Good Product.....

Everyone wanted to know where we got this from
The poles went as sturdy as I'd like, but it got the job done. We had no issues putting this up. We bought different suction cups based off feedback from other reviewers.

Perfect for any road trip
Very convenient for car-camping in the unpredictable Oregon weather. It’s great that is packs so small, it makes it super easy to fit it in with the rest of my gear.

Take time with the poles.
Very nice quality. Carefully feed corded poles thru holes. Two person task goes much quicker. Did demo on back of Fiat, but purchased for a teardrop camper.

Nice but not super easy to set up
It's a pretty quality piece, however it is not easy or fast for one person to set up
