Alliteration all along
We have been looking for quite sometime to make ABC learning a fun experience for my 3-year-old. For the same, we have ended up collecting a bunch of books with really interesting concepts. But those concepts stand nowhere close to the alliteration, silly rhyming and made-up-words concept of this book. What a funny/crazy way to teach alphabets: “Four fluffy feathers on a Fiffer-feffer-feff” “Big Q little q What begins with Q? The quick Queen of Quincy and her quacking quaker-oo” In fact, even we have ended up learning ABC all over again. Wish we had ordered this book earlier. Highly recommended!!!

What a fun way to practice the alphabet with your 4-6 year ...
What a fun way to practice the alphabet with your 4-6 year old who is pre-reading. My son has autism and is nonverbal, but he still asks for this book. We have been reading it together since he was 2 and he is not 6. I am hoping, with time, he will be able to spell words and use spelling to communicate. This is a great book to get any child ready for spelling. "Big A, Little a, What begins with A? Aunt Annie's alligator. A...a...a!"

Buy it only if you want to make learning fun!
Good book. Entertaining and different approach. Alphabets learning fun with some tongue twister words for kids. Not the usual alphabet book.

Nice
Like most Dr Seuss books, you are often left wondering whether this madcap play of words really works. I would say it does as it familiarises young kids with words and language using rhyme, repetition and humour. It's a good book and very engaging. It teaches rather unconventional words ( though Z for Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz is beyond me) for each alphabet replete with interesting and funny pictures. But if you want to teach your LO the alphabet, go for a cheap ABC book that would do a better job. Personally I think the book would be more appropriate for children above 2.5 yrs.

Very happy with this purchase! I got Dr. Seuss: An Amazing Alphabet Book on sale for around $6, and it was totally worth it. The book arrived in good condition and is exactly what I expected. You really can’t go wrong with Dr. Seuss; it’s fun, engaging, and great quality. Would definitely recommend, especially at this price.

I grew up reading Dr. Seuss' books and my daughter loves them too. The characters are true-to-form unusual and they make for memorable learning. The books are probably designed for kids a little older than my daughter (2.5 yrs ), but she still loves them being read aloud to her. I would recommend these for any child who is very curious and enjoys nonsensical stuff. Enjoy!
