PHILIPS BAHADUR RADIO FOR RADIO LOVERS!!!
I will not elaborate the review of Philips Bahadur FM/SW/MW Radio and come straight to the point.Pros:1. Light weight and easy to use.2. Regular two R20 or D type cells required to operate the radio.3. DC 3V, 0.5Watt optional input available, so you can run this radio with AC to DC appropriate power adapter (can be bought from local market).4. Very long antenna for good FM reception.5. Loud speaker for listening to music.6. SW and MW also works but channel is very less now a days.Cons:1. Channel tuner is sensitive, i.e., you need to dial the tuner very slowly in order to listen to the very close frequencies (91.9, 92.7, 93.5 etc.).2. At very high volume, sound/music clarity starts to degrade. Audio is very much muffled at high volumes. So my advice is to keep at medium volume.3. Sometimes you need to adjust (increase the length) the antenna to listen the weak FM radio frequencies/channels.4. No power LED available. So you can't know whether it is in ON or OFF state. This is a very bad design idea by Philips, that is not to put a LED indicator in a radio.5. Price could be less because it has no headphone jack or any led torch light facility. It is good for old age people and sometimes Radio is preferable over smartphones and modern gadgets, because it gives you less headache.😁Verdict:You can buy it because this is PHILIPS radio, but I will suggest that better options are available at local shop/market at a much lower price.🤗

Perfect companion
Perfect, very cute and perfectly performing three band radio. Bahadur model. The two D batteries gives you months of top notch performance and entertainment. One should have this and forget mobile apps of radio. Very good companion. FM and MW bands are working perfectly, not able to check SW as no channels broadcasting in SW in my area. Signal reception and sound and top notch. I was a very regular listener of radio since decades but somehow the habit got disturbed, but now again it started. Happy with this radio. Radio will keep you entertained and informed without much deviations on our activities and tasks and will not cause any health related problems that are caused by internet connected advanced audio visual devices like mobiles and net connected televisions causing problems in eyes, head, neck hands etc. Simply buy this one without doubt

Works alright - charger !
I wanted to replace my Mom's old Phillips boombox, this came across as a very sensible option. Super light and portable.Signal strength and fine-tuning are not great, but you get what you pay for.For the price of one good meal, now I have a radio that I can carry aroundFor the last 10 years, the only time I get to listen to the radio is when I'm in my car.One thing that was explicitly mentioned in the product name but I missed - "External 3V DC (Optional)"I only found out when I received it and I opened the box, that there's no power supply. I bought disposable batteries for immediate use.Truth is - power supply is not "optional" ... you need to buy separately. It comes up in the "frequently bought together" section. And its a tacky-looking, third-party charger at 40% of purchase price of the radio. I doNOT plan to buy the charger. I'll try and work with disposable batteries ... and they're NOT cheap !Maybe it makes better sense to buy the next model up - which has rechargeable internal battery!

Worst product ever
Extremely disappointed with this product.Firstly, the product was faulty. After submitting it for servicing, it's been almost a month and there has been no response from the service center. This is by far the worst product and service experience I’ve had.Did not expect such poor quality and after-sales service from a reputed brand like Philips.Strongly recommend avoiding this product.
