Egg Topper Stainless Steel Egg Cracker Cutter Egg Shell Remover

Had a couple of times that the shell didn't come off when removing the egg cracker, but I think the problem was more likely the shape of the eggs.

It really must be used in a vertical attitude, because gravity is it's motivating power source. I prefer the spring loaded egg toppers because they can be successfully used at any angle.

I was so tired of cracking eggs on the side of the pan. This thing works. Hold tool and egg in the same hand and kinda pull it a little tight. Pull up sliding weight all the way up and let go. Do it twice.

It was a lot better then the shorter version. Need practice to get it right. Almost got it .

This nifty little device works just as I expected and hoped it would. I used it for soft-boiled eggs, and it worked very well. The top of the shell was all in one piece - no nasty little egg shell chips to fish out of the eggs. I used it on an extra large egg, and the opening was a bit smaller than it might have been, but it's certainly manageable. For hard-boiled eggs, I'll need to try again - it didn't work perfectly the first time. I didn't try it for raw eggs. I'm happy to recommend it!

A bit lightweight. Works OK on the large side not sure what you'd use the other side for. The other single topper we have is better and more heavy weight.
