Still loving Edup products
I felt like the price was low enough on this tech to give it a try. I first purchased some similar HDMI wireless adapters that was some random brand. They ended up not working correctly (connection issues + serious lag), but getting a dud sometimes is the nature of tech.At some point around the time I was returning those, I noticed these Edup Wireless HDMI adapters and since they were the same price, I decided to give them a try. Edup is a brand I was already familiar with because I purchased some of their products many years ago. I particularly liked their Nano USB WiFi adapter, that I used often because they would consistently work in Windows and didn't require additional drivers.I kind of figured that these adapters would be identical to the ones I had returned because they look the same in the picture. But the Edup adapters have a nicer look and feel to them. They worked just as described, are super easy to setup and and didn't get as warm after usage, even after running them for several hours without issue.

Works well, seemless
I'm not sure what "setup" problems everyone is referring to. The single was plug n play for me.As for watching video I noticed 0 latency. When playing games it works with any item that takes HDMI but you need a USB power source. It works on my steamdeck OK. The latency on gaming devices seems to be very noticeable so you can't play anything thats fast or requires quick reactions. Wireless gaming is the main reason I bought this but I'll still keep it because the benefit of having no wires is worth it.Make sure the dongle is powered before connecting to HDMI otherwise it may not register with the signal output, that's the only hiccup I've had from this thingAlso this thing gets pretty warm when it's transmitting a signal (which is common among almost all wireless devices like this). I've been able to use it all day tho, so just keep it ventilated and it should be okay

Awesome little device
I purchased this after using it to present at a business meeting. This company has an overhead projector which is hit or miss in terms of its wireless functionality. However they popped this in on the projector side, put the other one on my machine along with the USB (for power) and fluid audio and video stream with no lag. I'll also be using this for an outdoor projector I have to use in my backyard, which will allow me to not worry about my computer getting wet from outdoor humidity.

Super easy….plug and play!! Great value!
I initially purchased a mulch more expensive wireless HDMI transmitter that overheated after just few months of use and had a spotty connection. This one was way cheaper and so much easy to connect to my computer. It has connected to all of my devices with no problem. The only issue is if you don’t have an hdmi port on your laptop, it will need an adapter but we had one of those already so no big deal. I would definitely buy this type of transmitter again. Great sound quality and picture quality…no lag or glitching at all.

Works ok but not through walls.
I have a small car lot with a shop next door. I purchased this so I could watch the lot for customers while working in the shop. The transmitter was roughly 35 feet from the receiver through 2 block walls and would not connect. I ended up using it instead of running an HDMI cord to get video to the TV in the office. It seems to work great for that but perhaps I was asking too much of it to transmit into another building although within the advertised range.

Plug and Play
Plug into display device then plug into computer make sure light is stable and mirroring is good to go. Use with a projector to mirror my pc screen to it so I don’t have a long cord running all over the place. Highly recommend.

Not bad for the price
I ended up upgrading this set to a more expensive system for my setup, but this worked fine. At the price point, I don’t think it can be beat.

No regerts
Works well,, goes 25 feet thru 2 typical residential sheetrock walls to bring video and audio from my puter to my TV.I had to move the transmitter around because my TV is mounted to my brick fireplace, so I bought some extension cables and a Command picture hook, stuck the hook to the back of my TV where it got good reception, and voila! It seems to automatically switch transmission channels when necessary, which is nice.
