Prompt delivery, a good read!
The book was un-put-down-able. One of Sophie Kinsella's eminently readable novels. I was happy that it arrived on time - I was waiting to read it and delivery by Amazon was prompt.

Easy holiday read ‘ don’t expect great insights
Funny and easy to read. But far far from reality.Burnouts and mental illness are serious stuff. This story kind of trivializes it all.

Ok read
Common story..it's been dragged to much. Terry's part is unnecessary long. Didn't like that much.

exploring urban chaos, self-discovery, and unexpected connections
Sophie Kinsella's latest novel, "The Burnout," delves into a phenomenon familiar to many urban dwellers and corporate workers – burnout, the dreaded state faced by those compelled to work excessively long hours.Although this theme has been explored in numerous novels, my curiosity led me to wonder about theunique perspective a Sophie Kinsella novel centered around burnout might offer. When it comes to the standard set for a Sophie Kinsella book, this one fall short of the reader's expectations. To be honest, I loved the characters – Sasha and Finn, each doing their own thing, both at the beach for their own different reasons.Their banter and equation got off to a great start. But here's the thing: the book loses its charm pretty quickly, especially in terms of Sasha and Finn's chemistry. Once they transition from enemies to friends, the story doesn't seem to progress any further, and that's where the problem begins.Overall, "The Burnout" is a decent one-time read, but you could do without it. Perhaps a shorter length and more passionate chemistry would have worked wonders for the novel.

An Honest Review!
Sasha Worth, the marketing prodigy and director of special promotions at Zoose, is overwhelmed by the mounting pressure of her job, with emails piling up and her work-life balance crumbling. Burnout takes hold, and she loses her zest for life. But an unexpected reservation takes her back to Rilston Bay, where she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and healing. She encounters a dilapidated hotel, a grumpy yet attractive guy named Finn, and they bond over shared experiences of burnout. Together, they unravel the mystery of strange notes and gifts left by a mysterious couple. In summary, “The Burnout” is an entertaining and uplifting romantic comedy that strikes a perfect balance between laughter and heartwarming moments. Sophie Kinsella showcases her storytelling prowess as she explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the power of connection. This book is a delightful escape filled with humor, heartfelt moments, and a reminder of the importance of finding joy and healing in unexpected places.

Great understanding of burnout
I bought this to take on a burnout weekend getaway, and it was perfect. Sure, some dramatics or unrealistic scenarios built in for plot & conflict, but they were comforting, cute & made me laugh out loud... which was MUCH needed. On a deeper level, the author does a great job capturing burnout of a single woman. I saw myself so clearly- even the way she describes cooking dinner being too much, but not remembering when it became too much, and those little nuggets of experience & wisdom that remind us it's all just a wave- the ride is it. I felt lighter after reading it on my burnout trip.

I really enjoyed this. I usually go for a crime, horror or psychology based novel and fancied some relief! This was the perfect book, funny and engaging with lovely characters and a fabulous storyline. Loved the hotel staff as well as Sasha, Finn and of course Terry. Heartwarming and entertaining! Read this and enjoy - I read part of it on my commute and couldn't help smiling.
