The Pampered Chef Flan Pan Set

I love the rave reviews I get when I make up one of the recipes included with these pans. There are more recipie on Pinterest if you need. They are refreshing and unique. Basically make a cake mix in pans. When it’s done pick a matching pudding flavor and a small tub of cool whip to it and mix well. Pour in the cooled cake shells. Top with fruit or nuts or whatever goes well. I like peach Melba flan, chocolate cherry, pumpkin spice etc…. Just to give you ideas.

I just made a flourless chocolate cake in the flan pan. I greased and buttered the pan, putting waxed paper in the bottom for easy removal. Half of the cake edge stuck to the pan. Even though I reduced the bake time by 10 minutes, the cake was still much drier than the last time I made the cake in a ceramic pan.
