These are in effect a smart switch for your outlets. They work really well to control things like lamps, fans or appliances that can be left "always on" but be controlled by a switched outlet but are a lot more convenient because you can have switched outlets anywhere you put them without having to install a physical switch and run wires or having to install switched outlets. They pair fairly easy. About the only thing that was a little troublesome was getting the GHome app that controls these to work right. I kept getting error 'no network connection' messages so I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I did this once and after that the setup was a breeze. I linked the GHome app to Alexa and Google Home and I control them with both without issue.

I purchased a 4-pack of these smart plugs for my Christmas lights. One plug worked out of the box, but the others did not. I contacted customer service and had a great experience-Kyle quickly arranged to send a full replacement 4-pack, which arrived very quickly. All of the new plugs worked perfectly. Setup through the app was simple, and the plugs are easy to control, schedule, and automate. After the holidays, I started using them for lamps in my living room and bedrooms, and they’ve worked flawlessly. I haven’t integrated them with Alexa yet, but the setup appears straightforward. The only drawback is the size-they protrude from the outlet and may block another plug on a power strip. Despite that, I highly recommend these smart plugs and would purchase from this company again due to the excellent customer service. I would absolutely buy a slimmer version if one becomes available.

These outlets are the best. They are small so you won't kick them as you walk by. I used a flat plug cord with them and the combination sticks out from the wall less than a conventional plug by itself. You can push the button on the outlet to turn them on and off or use the free app to control them remotely. You can set schedules for each one or create a scene. Once you have connected the first one through the app to the wifi, each one after that takes less than 30 seconds to connect and update. Seriously These are the easiest to connect and control. I bought another 4 pack of the round ones and 4 of the dual rectangular ones as well as a dual outdoor one. The only drawback is in the app with the pop up ads for other devices. Seriously these are so good and reliable you don't need ads, the brand sells itself. I will be buying this brand when the need comes up.

Easy to set up. Arrived quickly. Originally wanted the Christmas tree wand but delivery wouldn't make it before Christmas and creators seem to have made sellers surge the price. This is the same concept essentially. You do have to download an app though so I hate that because why. All these dang apps. But it makes it easy go voice command the tree lights on and off. Still trying to figure out how to time automate it but I think you have to share constant location for that to work. It works with Alexa as well if you have one but I just use my phone. The app connects to the google home app so if you delete the app after the initial set up it won’t connect. Not an official google product as I initially thought but is able to connect easily with google devices. My only issue is downloading yet another app but it works great and is super small and cordless on its own. Just like lights however, you will need some kind of internet in your home to connect the bluetooth capacity of the device but yeah so far so good.

I use these all over both my rooms and they work great. Only issue I have had is around 6 months in with the schedule set for my pets basking/UV lamps, they stopped turning on and off at the set times. All I had to do was unplug them and plug them back in and it was fixed. I would recommend these very helpful and convenient.

It’s a great balance of convenience and efficiency, and I’ve already noticed how much it simplifies my daily routine. Another nice bonus is being able to control them while away from home. If I forget to turn something off, I can just open the app and switch it off remotely. It gives me peace of mind and adds an extra layer of security when I’m traveling. Overall, these smart plugs are affordable, easy to use, and incredibly practical. They make my home feel smarter, more efficient, and much more convenient to manage. If you’re looking to start building a smart home setup — or just want an easy way to add some automation to your life — I can’t recommend Govee smart plugs enough. They’re worth every penny!
