Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this flour! Being wheat free, spelt is a grain that my family can eat. I love this flour for making our homemade bread in a bread maker every week. I cannot find this bread anywhere where I live, but amazon has it. This flour can be replaced for thickening a roux, gravy, making cupcakes or muffins or homemade bread in a bread maker. This flour is quality because it is sprouted and sprouted flour is more nutritious and easier to digest. Flour quality:The quality of this product is top notch. It is great tasting!Value for money:The cost is great -- especially if you buy it on subscribe and save.Gluten free:Spelt is the cousin to wheat , higher in gluten but not as harsh on the gut as wheat.Texture:Makes a great bread!

I made dinner rolls and one apple streusel cake with this flower, it is awesome. I read about the health benefits of this ancient grain and it may have a bit crumblier consistency with the cake but so worth it, the taste was not different from regular flower.

I've ordered this spelt on at least three occasions. It's flavorful and elevates both breads and pizza dough.

I’m doing an eczema detox and this is one of the few items I can consume on the diet. I appreciate that it is sprouted and it tastes pretty good as a pancake or tortilla.

I’m on an alkaline diet and purchased this for my snack or baking needs. This ancient grain is packed with tons of nutrients and tastes absolutely delicious. It especially bakes the best with bread. It also made the most tastiest alkaline chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. I also made coconut bread, pumpkin muffins, alkaline puff puffs and alkaline pancakes. I’ll attach pictures of some of the alkaline snacks I made with this flour. So good yum!

I have only one complaint about this flour and that is that it does not come in a resealable bag! As with all whole grain flours the best storage place is the refrigerator or freezer and with limited space a resealable bag saves on having to use a piece of tape to keep the bag closed. Who wants to have flour dusting their fridge from an unsealed bag?!Now onto the product itself? Fantastic! I have recently discovered that I can eat sprouted grain but have a rough time with too much "regular" whole grains. (Haven't used white flour in years.) We have a sourdough biscuit recipe that we love to make and this sprouted spelt flour works REALLY well. Creates a light and very tasty bread. You can also use it in cakes etc. As with all whole grains, you may find you need to add a little extra liquid. When I make my biscuits I add a little extra olive oil.Would I recommend this? Yes! I always buy this flower, only problem is the expiration date is Oct 2025 and that means it won't last long, Spelt is a great flour, just check the expiration date
