Being older, I was constantly getting injured on twigs and thorns in my garden. I had to stop doing the kinds of tasks I was doing. Finally I had to do something so went on line to look for Kevlar arm coverings and found these. They are fantastic. I can go out in my garden again without worry and being overly concerned about my skin getting injured. I also sent a pair to a friend who lives in a forest and has to clear blackberries and other brambles from around her cottage. She is loving them too. I like it that the sleeves are long and cover part of the hand too. The top end of one of my sleeves is too tight regardless of the arm that I put it on. It hurts a bit so I just turned the end over on to the fabric. That helped a great deal. They are great. I also wear them indoors when I am house-cleaning because it protects my arms inside too. Great product...wonderful to feel able to do things I enjoy doing again.

I’ve never felt safer from accidental injury to my lower arms than I have since these arm sleeves arrived. Several times before, I’ve tried other sets of arm sleeves by different makers but quickly quit them when they failed to provide the protection I needed.Just recently, I decided I needed to take over the yardwork here, and all I could think about were the many injuries I was sure to end up with and how horrible my arms were going to look — but then I found these arm sleeves here on Amazon by a lucky accident! These have such a thick weave (without, for me, any sense of feeling overheated or sweaty from them) that my work in the yard has gone without any arm damage whatsoever.The only problem I’ve had with them personally is that the very solidly-edged thumb hole (a sign of a top-notch product and, likely, a plus for most people) feels too constrictive for the build of my hands. Again, this is something which would vary from person-to-person; I just happen to be the wrong person in this case — but that’s okay! All I’ve had to do is simply not use the thumb holes. I wear gloves over the arm sleeves anyway, so I’m still fully protected with the sleeves starting up my arm from the wrist instead!How I wish I’d found this product many years ago because I’d love to have had the incredible amount of comfortable arm protection these provide! I’m out there working now without the constant fear and worry I always had in the past while outside, and that’s such an incredibly freeing experience!

Theses are perfect for my needs!I bruise easy and will use the for fishing and outdoor activities. Also heat and cut resistant!They fit great and I like the storage pouch, comes with a "Zip seal" but plastic, so make sure the sleeves are dry. Will fit perfectly in my Knapsack along with my fishing gear.Update: 06/14/2021After wearing these fishing any hook with a barb will cause the material to pick out and wear a hole in the fabric. I've snagged them barely and if you can't get the barb out without causing damage it will as one of mine have! :(

I found the item comfortable and enjoy the thought that it adds protection against a knife slip on my part. I used it in field dressing and the process of one deer so far. I wear it over a flannel long-sleeve shirt and pair it with a medium or large cut-resistant fillet glove which I wear over this sleeve protector (image attached). I am only a medium sized male and the large arm sleeve fit perfectly over a flannel shirt sleeve. I interpreted certain other reviews as suggesting that the sleeve ran slightly small so that is why I ordered the large, hoping it would fit me as a medium sized person and it worked out great. I have just hand-washed it and it came out fine. Will see how it holds up over multiple uses and washings.

Good protection against cuts and scrapes. Good warmth and thickness. I have 18 1/2” bicep and the largest model fits snug and comfortable all the way up. Good product. Will update on durability when I can.

To protect my arms from small bruises when working in the garden. At 80 years of age, my arms bruise easily. The sleeve offers a significant amount of protection. I think this point should be mentioned in your literature. Also, you might consider adding some information regarding sleeve size. I could not wear the smaller version because of its tightness. The larger size was much better, but it was still necessary for me to slit the sleeve on the anterior surface to relieve the tightness. I was able to do this without compromising protection because it is the posterior surface that is most prone to bruising.

Although I basically put all 3s, don’t get it twisted, these things are awesome. Hear me out.The thickness/protection wasn’t a category which is where it’s way better than some cheaper versions. I would totally give it a 7/5 stars in this category.My gripe is I purchased the extra large size for extra money and THINK I didn’t actually get the extra large size. My packaging had no indications from my inexperience eye. I see the label says x in front of some numbers but I am not convinced (please correct me and I’ll change this).Even if this is the large size, I find larger sizes should be offered. I have normal arms, not overly muscular or fat....and they aren’t the most comfortable thing over a long time. If you are hot and sweaty and then try to put them on, it’s not pleasant. I understand it shouldn’t be loose but I would like some more comfort here.Overall, the protection is great as I tried it with a knife. I needed to buy 3 pairs and after testing this did opt to try another brand as for the second person I know they won’t wear it as often as they should if it’s not comfortable.Buy them, it might work/fit better for you. Above all, protection is key.P.S. the logo is FIRE

Wish they came in a bigger size. Little too tight. They are also a little hot. Use when gardening and other chores as skin has thinned with age and the slightest bump causes bruising. Work well.
