1/4" x 2" - 100 Pack Wooden Dowel Pins - Kiln Dried, Fluted, and Beveled (1/4" x 2", 100pk)

So I'm not sure why people are saying they are too thick. They aren't.Compared to the original dowels, they look thicker, but once you hammer them in and then pull them back out, they look about the same thickness so if they are comparing them to ones they used previously, then it's going to look considerably thicker.Also, people are showing themselves trying to push them in with their fingers. When using a hammer they go in easy. They may be a tad thicker still but they appeared to go in without making the holes bigger or causing damage. If anything the unit will be more secure.Some are claiming their original dowels are longer and I don't know if something changed but the originals I have are 2" which these are as well.Also, the manufacturer makes no claims about these being compatible with Kallax so leaving a poor review when there's nothing actually wrong with the product is really not fair.

I can’t express the frustration of having to hunt for the perfect fit to replace the original dowels for my IKEA KALLAX shelf, which most had been damaged after relocating to a place far from civilization.Though they weren’t the exact length as the original IKEA parts, they worked perfectly. I’m so grateful for the excess—for future use, if needed.

I purchased several used IKEA Kallax shelves that were either missing some dowels or they were broken. After an exhaustive internet search, I settled on these and they worked perfectly!

I had broken several of these pins while building my ikea kallax bookcase. After reading many reviews for pins that didn’t actually fit the kallax bookcase even though they claimed to I came upon this item. They fit perfectly for the kallax without me having to drive back to ikea to pick up extras.

Good dowels, all I used were consistent in size and fit nice and snug as they should.

These work great for IKEA furniture. I needed replacement pegs for the used cube storage units that I bought during quarantine but IKEA was closed then. These did the trick!

We broke several of the dowels for some furniture we bought and put together then had to move. The place we purchased the furniture from was too far away to go for 20 little dowels so I ordered these. They came the next day and we put the furniture back together with the dowels we purchased on Amazon. They were a PERFECT fit!

Broke some of the dowels when disassembling our Ikea Kallax shelf unit, so we bought these. These are priced well, and definitely beat a trip waiting in line at Ikea during a pandemic. Definitely didn’t need 100, but now I have an extra 90 on hand when I need them!
