I love this tool! Not only is it gorgeous (it's got crystals inside!) but one of the best pickers I've ever used. I use it for bead work and collaging (it's awesome with paper). Other pickers tend to have a tacky or waxy substance and leave a dull residue on the piece. This does not. Not only that but its wax head remains firm through multiple use (and I use this everyday). The cone tip grabs tiny delicate pieces like nail crystals or Delica beads and the generous size of the head allows for it to hold slightly heavier items like larger crystals or stock paper. It's unusual to find a picker that can handle both tiny objects like nail crystals or Delica beads as well as heavier items. Get this if you need a picker. It's my favorite so far and I've tried them all, from the weird wire cages to the red wax strips used by old school jewelers to the Silhouette Pick Me Up.

I am a seamstress and bought this to make stoning large garments easier for me and it does just that. It feels comfortable in your hand and it doesn't leave a wax residue on your stones.

Awesome tool work's really well

I absolutely love this tool! I own a Crystal Katana picker but always had a hard time holding it because my hands are quite small and couldn't hold it properly. It wasn't as comfortable for me until I discovered this Practical Nail Diamond picker! It's super comfortable to hold, it's not too thin or too thick and it has cute little beads in the middle! That's something that caught my eye right away. It's extremely light and picks up super small stones, studs, dried flowers and big stones efficiently. Definitely a must for your kit!
