Extremely good value for money. High quality and easily installed and no false triggering. Additional motion sensors are very compact and again good value when compared to other manufacturers.

Super easy to install - bought the doorbell later and adding it on was again very easy. if you need a basic alarm, which warns you on your phone if someone breaks in, can't go wrong with this. I am guessing changing the sensor batteries won't be so easy (they stick to the surface - at the back - where the battery panel is) but I worry about that when the time comes.

Lasted about 6 months then stopped responding. Reset it, couldn't get it reconnected to smart life or my wifi, and gave up with it.

It's all made from plastic, and just feels cheap to me, considering what it costs. You also don't get much for your money. For instance, make sure you read the listing properly. If you go by the photos alone, you could be left with the impression that you get the monitor as well, when in fact this is to be purchased separately. Obviously its not essential, you can operate the system via an app on your phone, link it with Alexa etc, but to get anywhere near a comprehensive system it's going to cost £££'s, this set is just the absolute basics to start you off. I think for someone living alone, or an elderly relative, for peace of mind it would be great. But for a family I don't think it's worth it, for a start you only get 2 RFID fobs to arm/disarm the system. I appreciate it can also be done via the phone app, but realistically this would be a headache to keep having to do compared to using a fob. All that aside, it's easy to install and set up, and there's no monthly fee that you get with other brands of home security, which is a big plus in its favour. I think if you're prepared to spend more money and build a bigger system then fair enough, but as it stands I'm not convinced that you're getting value for money with this particular package, so its just 3 stars from me.

Considering it's price it's very easy to use and setup a s pretty much hassle free and does exactly what it's supposed to do!

I have taken a while to get to grips with this, and offer a summary of the benefits and issues after my testing Pros: + works with Tuya SmartLife app (the Hestia app is just a rebadged version of SmartLife) for ongoing support + box is rechargeable so gives some extra coverage in the event of mains failure + sensors pair easily with the main unit + vibration sensor is very sensitive + door sensors work quickly + RFID keyfobs easy to use for disarming + lots of options for away/home/disarm modes and whether sensors are active or create alarms + Connects with Alexa and Home Assistant via the SmartLife integration Cons: - Hestia's own branded app and Alexa skill may not be maintained for long due to low user base - Alexa (and HA) integration only supports arming/disarming and does not create any notification or alarm event status notifications or events - The unit gave me hundreds of AC fail notifications when plugged into my normal phone charger USB socket - this will only work with some USB power supplies, not all (this should be a standard but there is something strange in how this box implelents USB charging) In short, if I could have integrated this properly with other devices in Alexa or HA then it would have been all powerful and I would be recommending it to everyone. Consider, for example the opprtunity to trigger an Alexa routine when a sensor is triggered, to broadcast an announcement saying "Your presence has been identified nad security has been notiofied. Leave immediately....accompanied by lots of flashing lights. Well unfortuantely it cannot be done, as the integration is limited to arming and disarming which severely restricts it for me. It is functional which gets a four star rating, but incomplete. The price at the time of review was around £80, normally £95. Its good for the moey, but not fantastic.

Quality on this is just special. It was so easy to install it. It looks like it has a strong battery. Helped me a lot with my doors on my house now . It worth it. Would recommend it to anyone who wants peace in the house..
