Love these pads, they cool the area around the ears and feels super comfortable to wear. A lot better than the original pads. It's worth the price and the quality both look and feels good. It's a little bigger than the original pads, but for my ears it's an upgrade with the added space inside. Sound quality is top notch, but if the sound feels different for you just use the app to EQ the sound for your taste. I'd buy again!

I love the Sennheiser Momentum 4 (SM4) headphones, but struggle to wear them for longer periods of time due to the native earpads holding onto a lot of heat, as well as some slight discomfort where the headphones meet my ears.So, after a fair bit of research, I tried out these replacements. They are much more robust than the original SM4 ear pads, which adds some much needed depth to the earcups, but only a few millimetres, so they don't add to the bulk of wearing them. They are very easy to put on and off the SM4s, easily clipping in and out of the earcups. And the wearing experience has, so far, been great. I'm not sure I gain the most from the cooling gel as I tend to run warm, but they are at least more breathable than the original SM4 pads, meaning even my prolonged wearing, my ears get less hot and sweaty.

I got the Momentum 4's and within a week found the default pads to be a bit uncomfortable and hot for long listening periods.Found these and they make the headphones more comfortable, cooler and better for long listening, with the only drawback being that head detection being a little more fussy. But it's a worthwhile trade off for my use case, as I use them all day while I work.

I was looking for something that wasn't as hot as my standard Momentum 4 earcups. This seemed to fit the bill, and I can confirm that they take longer to get hot than the original leatherette ones. They are also a little deeper, although not quite as soft as the original cups. I didn't notice any significant impact on the sound signature of the headphones, which is something others have remarked on with other headphone brands. I would welcome WC creating some plain, tan/cream coloured earcups to match the original leatherette ones on my denim colour headphones though. I didn't want a camo-effect one, which only left me with black at the time. I see that white cups are also now available.

Definitely cooler for the first hour but do get warm and uncomfortable after a couple of hours.Negatives:Don't fit larger ears, earlobes do not fit inside the earcups. Noise cancelling is reduced by about 20%, certain sounds like running water are definitely louder. Sound profile changes causing some sibilance but can be reduced using an equaliser.Positives:Have more depth compared to OE which prevents ears touching the inside. Quality seems to good

This opinion is from a regular consumer as I can't claim to be an audiophile.Pros:The process of changing the pads over was easy. Two minutes job, if that.The change has dramatically improved the look of the headphones. As much as I love the senny momentum 4s it can't be denied that the yokes are dull.The pads are more comfortable than the stock pads. I have no complaint about the quality of materials used in the making of Wickeds pads.Sound quality is still top drawer. Create a new sound profile in the app after installing them and I can't see any issues with the sq.Cons:The ANC performance is impacted ever so slightly. Tbh the ANC wasn't top drawer with the stock pads, so being slightly worse than that doesn't impact my enjoyment of the headphones.Overall I would absolutely recommend the change in pads. Even if it's just to improve the athsetics.
