Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Vol. 6

I thought this volume was good. I liked going back to look at at Tohru before she met Kobayashi. Her father is super creepy though. So are some of the other minor characters, like the CEO. So anyway, I'm enjoying this fun little romp through the life of your not-so-average OL. This is one of those series that is silly, doesn't take itself seriously, & the point is just to have fun. Good times. That's what's happening. Art, fitting for the story & characters. Dialogue, fairly good. Characters, likeable, & in some cases, adorable.

Volume 6 is another fine one in a great series. We are given Tohru's impressions of an amusement park. Ilulu gets herself a job and Elma tries to improve her workplace. Saikawa's sister Georgie has some nice scenes and that perked me up as I think she's an interesting character. The last stories have both Tohru and her father telling Miss Kobayashi what Tohru was doing in the years before she settled down as Miss Kobayashi's maid. All in all, a first rate volume, both funny and touching, as the series usually is.

When this manga came to my attention, I was entranced with the artist's simple hand drawn style. There was so much emotion in each panel that it seemed to transend the surface and reach into the heart. I still prefer the artist's original work because of that quality(though I truly love the animae as well). I hope his work can continue for a long,long time.

I love this manga it holds a special place in my heart.

This series gets better and better and in volume7 we get more backstory band an insight into dragon motivations....DEFECTIVE PRODUCT- I found two examples of duplicate pages, one printed vertically out of register, inserted out of sequence. If aware, no problems, just skip the page. They could be razored out.(I won't, it might be as valuable as a misprinted stamp). I love the artwork and characters so....roll on no7 in November!

De series blijft goed en sterk.Het papier in dit volume is alleen een ander soort papier dan normaal. Terwijl het weer terug is in het volgende volume.Best gek maar je hoort mij niet klagen
