Nova Dye Shampoo, Nova Instant Dye Shampoo, Gray Coverage Hair Color Shampoo for Gray Hair Shampoo for Women and Men (Dark Brown)

I have ordered the real Nova directly and this is definitely not the same product! Had heard not to order, but figured why not try since the price was so good. When product is dispersed it is missing the clear portion (probably developer) that the real Nova has. This one only has the colored part, and not the other that you mix together. Because of this it does not deposit the color correctly and does not cover 100%. I’m a licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of color expertise. I decided to try a second time using a tint brush to thoroughly saturate. A little better, but The real Nova I bought directly from them, I didn’t need to, and got 100% gray coverage! That being said…..for gray blending and deepening the natural color this particular version would be a good alternative, if someone wanted to have a more blended look with gray undertones. For Me it’s more a salt and pepper mix. While I don’t mind it I can only give 1 star since it doesn’t cover gray 100% as promised!

Ok. Red heads unite we r tired of stained pillow sheets and lots of work. Super easy.apply to dry hair roots and shower 10 mins later. Done. I have washed twice, followed instructions to the tee. And my roots are colored without the weeks of staining on pillow sheets

I tried the dark brown which did not fully color my roots but also did not stain. I bought the black and mixed the two together. It stained my hands, nails, and some areas on my scalp. Several hand washes have helped. I'm sure a few hair washes will help as well. I like the fact that it is a more natural product and will wash out eventually. I will just wear gloves next time!

I received my package yesterday. On the inside of the bottom of the box the dye came in, there were 3 perfect circles of dye stain. I used it this morning before my interview. It did not cover any of my gray hair. It did not live up to it's description. What a complete waste of money and time. Good thing I had back up dye. I will stick to my usual hair dye. At least it covers my gray.

The product is not that great and it has stained my couch, pillowcases, and other various items that my hair has touched. I cannot get the stains out of these household items at all! Very upset!
