I received these and loved them. They fit well, they were clear, they were level, and as time passed, no scratches. Fast forward 4 months after receiving them. I put on the first pair, the lens fell out, noticed that sometime during the night, the frame cracked. So, go get another pair. This one needed cleaning, go to clean the first lens, and before I could clean, that lens fell out...another broken frame. Go grab the 3rd pair, as time wore on, I had an irritation on my nose where the glasses were sitting. Why? You guessed, those too were broken. All 3 pairs were perfectly functioning the day before, and one day out of the blue, all frames broken. I'm in my 50s, just my hubby and me, no kids, nobody to run around finding readers to go break frames. For 4 months use, I can't complain that I didn't get my money's worth, but it's terrible that they all had to go on the very same day.

I love them! I have one in every room now! They are so light on my face and so clear as well!

This is my 3rd or 4th set of reading glasses from this brand. I use different strengths for different tasks (reading, needlework, computer work, etc.), and I like to have them available in the places where I'm likely to use them, rather than having to carry them around. These are at a decent price point to allow me to keep separate pairs at each location (end table in the living room, nightstand in the bedroom, kitchen island in kitchen, etc.).Mine arrived in perfect shape, and so far are holding up nicely (I've had them for about 6 weeks). Granted, I only use each pair maybe a couple of hours a day, but still -- no noticeable problems with durability. They don't come with cases, so I purchased cases here on Amazon.Overall, very happy with these readers.

I have an almost nightly habit of reading in bed for many hours and eventually fall asleep with my glasses. In the past I was buying high priced glasses and constantly having to replace them because the frames could no longer be adjusted or they broke. I decided since it got kind of expensive I would try using cheap glasses. I bought a number of different brands and they ended up the same as the expensive ones. Gamma Ray Readers really are the best. Unlike the others they do not bend and become too loose or break. I have been wearing the first of three pairs for months and they are exactly as they were when they were new. I not only read in bed, they come outside with me attached to a lanyard. The lens is clear, good optics. I have not scratched them in spite of my abuse. I even sat on them a few times. They are all around glasses and I highly recommend them! I just bought another set. The low price is low/wonderful considering the quality.

These did not work for me, through no fault of the seller, I ordered the wrong strength. I will be giving these to someone else who can use them. The reason I am giving them 3 stars isn't because of that, it is because even if they had been the correct strength for me. these are huge on my face. From the picture, I thought they would be much smaller. Would be helpful to actually see a pair of these on a face, maybe different face shapes to see what would look good on you? These ended up just being a little too square for my face.They do seem very well made, the spring hinges are great, these feel like great quality glasses and I am sure my MIL will love them. I think they will look better on her squarer face too.

It's going to sound corny that I'm writing a rave review for some "cheaters" but I really LOVE these glasses!I've been wearing reading glasses for about eight years and I've tried every kind out there. From dollar store to expensive, these are hands down the best glasses and the best return on my money.- they can expand to fit larger heads which is great if my husband puts them on, they never stretch out, AND they fit OVER my CPAP machine when I'm reading in bed!- they wipe clean easily and don't scratch- I'm still on MY FIRST PAIR since late December! I've never had a pair that I wear daily last that long without being totally scratched or cracking and losing a lens.

These reading glasses are great! They're very lightweight, the spring hinges work great and these glasses stay on my face when I look down which is so nice! I get really tired of pushing my glasses back up where they belong. I will definitely order Gamma Ray reading glasses when I need them again.

These arrived quickly and they were safely packed in long, thing baggies. The strength was marked on a little cling sticker on one of the lenses. The quality is excellent. The frames don’t have any rough spots, the width isn’t so narrow that they pinch the sides of my face when I put them on, and the lenses are clear and without distortion. I was surprised that they came with a little eyeglasses-size screwdriver that fits on my keychain. If the side screws (or the rotary on-off switch on my antique lamp, which happened last night) ever need tightening, I’m good to go. These compare favorably to the readers I bought for a lot more at a local boutique hardware store. The colors are not bright, but I’m fine with that.

great glasses - clear and well made - had one pair go through the washing machine and survive without any damage. Great value.

Hinge came off in one of the three. Now I have two. I am sure it's just a matter of time before the other two pairs break too.
