Lightweight and convenient for training
I was tired of lugging around heavy CPR manikins, so I tried this portable tool. It's incredibly easy to carry. The feedback on compression depth and speed is very helpful for teaching accurate CPR. CPR scenarios and practice modes on the app are useful, though it would be better if they could be projected on a larger screen. Definitely recommend it for practicing and teaching CPR!

Came used
I opened this product and it is used!!! Theres blue glitter everywhere all over it >:[ I stay away from glitter bc its hard to get rid of once its on something. Plus I paid full price for this item to be receiving used merchandise. I don't even want to use it now who knows why it was returned!!! If I could I'd give no stars.

very cool and useful product
I do cpr classes for work and we have a hard time simulating doing compressions on a stuffed animal. I got this for us to be able to practice proper cpr compressions. I love the lights and sounds and the more you do correct compressions the higher the beep gets its like getting combos in a video game. the sounds help to make sure you are doing it correctly and how long you can maintain correct compressions. My husband is a paramedic and teaches cpr certificates in human medicine I had him use this and he said that's nice and feels stiff like the mannequins do. This is so much nicer and easier to take around than a large bulky body. I do like that the pro you can use an app however I'm not very impressed with the app. I got the pro for that reason however when you open the app everything is in Chinese. Thank goodness there are symbols like the gear for settings and in ( ) has language under setting to be able to change it. I was able to connect the cube to Bluetooth however the feedback mode would not work to show the feedback on the screen. I'm disappointed that its not working like it shows in the product video.

Kinda a gimic
I was a little dis appointed in this. The idea as it was conveyed was exciting.... I thought that it would be a great way to get a different approach to teaching CPR and AED. Having used it though. The only thing that I think I could gain from this kit over watching youtube is the effective depth foam block, but even then its pretty unrealistic. And really for what you get its way too expensive.

Great CPR tool
This is a great tool to help learn proper compression.A lot of CPR classes nowadays no longer run tapes so it's hard to know if your doing it right.Between the app and the sounds you have plenty of indicators to determine the proper depth and rate.Very useful for training classes that can't afford a full-size and electronic Annie doll.

Helps keep an old retiree up to snuff
I got this CPR trainer to have something to practice with now that I'm retired. I used to be trained every other year on CPR as a refresher. I'm able to go to the union training, but it's usually prohibitive to get to. Having this makes me feel like I'd still be able to help if needed. It's helpful that it tells you how much pressure to apply. When I had to do this in real life once I overshot the pressure a bit and broke some ribs. The lights/sounds of the cube really do help you dial in the speed and pressure very quickly. The setup is different from having a half-person mannequin, but sufficient. The only thing I miss is having a representation of the sternum to orient from. The app is the coolest part. I'm not an instructor, but you could hook up four cubes to it at once if you wanted to teach.

Great product
This is such a unique and smart product! I got this for my husband who is an EMT and CPR instructor. This device has a nice feel to it and is comfortable for your hands. It has lights on the base which can indicate the quality of your compressions (depth and rate). It also has sounds to indicate this as well. Plus, it also has a metronome feature to help students learn the pace and rhythm of the compressions. This device also has a way of viewing the data on a smart phone via an app. We did not yet test that feature yet. But if you are teaching several students at once, as an instructor it would be great to see everyone’s info all in one place simultaneously. In my opinion (as someone who has been CPR trained), using a test dummy (mannequin) gives a much more realistic experience for students, rather than a small red square…but this device is unique in its features and still a good teaching tool. It also doesn’t take up much space to store it (where the mannequins do). So, I would still recommend it for situations where a mannequin is not available or for practicing your technique.
