Its not very clear from the description but these are workbooks for the smaller Bob books, this one for: * My First Bob Books - Alphabet Box Set * Bob Books - Set 1: Beginning Readers * Bob Books: Rhyming Words So you want to buy it all, the workbook and these 3 books to get the most out of it. Can you still do this workbook without them? Yes, but it might be confusing for your kid and the workbook doesn't have the full stories. Still this has been a great resource in getting my kid to read, we do one story every day, reading it first and then doing the workbook pages for it. Whenever he's unsure, he just thumbs the storybook and then comes back to complete the work. The style of the exercises the kids have to do are simple and repetitive, so after one or two stories they'll already know what they have to do even without you prompting them. Practicing reading and writing on the workbooks has been one of the best ways to get my kid to do some homework without much complaining.

Great for pre-school to work on letters and reinforce the books. My son gets tired since there are about 6 pages of workbook per story but he made good progress with starting to ready before school started.

Amazing how fast kids grasp on to the words in these books! Game changer to get your kid to read :)

The workbook was an absolute Godsend as it worked alongside the set of BOB Books. My kids definitely enjoyed it!

When I first used Bob Books in the 1990s, accompanying workbooks were not available. Although those students were successful without workbooks, I found that some students needed more repetition. The Bob Book Workbooks fill the Gap. However, the Bob Books covered in each workbook are not sequential. I had to work from 2 workbooks at a time, going back and forth. Look at the scope and sequence of Bob Books and what is contained in the workbooks before you make a purchase. The students who needed workbooks enjoyed them. (I am giving this review for each Bob workbook)

This says its a beginning readers workbook, so I assumed it goes with the beginner readers book set. But it arrived today and its actually two workbooks in one, the first half goes with the alphabet book box set and then the 2nd half goes with the beginning reader box set. Which is great but I wish it had known that because I had waited to order it until my child was done with the alphabet box set and ready for the next set. It would of been really nice to have this book during that time too.

Can’t say enough great things about BOB Books! We have used them for both my kiddos to learn how to read and they have made it so easy! My 4 year old will willingly do this workbook! If you are looking for a great workbook to go along with your BOB Books I highly recommend this one!

These are great to add on to teaching your child to read. I like how the work pages match up to the story books. Easy to follow instructions and comes with stickers and certificates !!!

This book has great exercises for kindergarten aged children to learn letters and letter sounds. Moving through each letter with letter stencils, “ which of these words starts with A” etc. My JK daughter loves to do her “homework” when her big sister does hers!

Yes it's a great book for your kid awesome when you use you will get amazing results of your kids spelling skill reading skill also writing this book is amazing . paper quality also very good very colourful .with lots of activities.highly recommended.
