Goldring1042 Stylus Replacement

An old design certainly, but with its local body and Gyger S stylus it’s still relevant. In fact it’s so good it gives many expensive moving coils a run for their money. If it lacks anything it is that last half octave of bass slam and I doubt whether most people would even notice because they’ll be enjoying the music so much.

There were no problems with the removal of old stylus (slide off front headshell of cartridge) or fitting new (slide on)Reproduction was absolutely fine and has now been used for a month or so with no problem

great replacement for the hard to get reson reca, will continue with this.

One of the better MI/MM carts/styli I've used, alas, the stylus does wear out; however, I purchased this replacement stylus as these carts may be (thankfully) restored with a replacement stylus. Thanks for fair price and prompt shipping.

With sound quality to match any moving coil of its price(and quite a few above) but with the convenience of a moving magnet(you only have to go through the set up the first time then its a simple plug in of any replacement stylus) this really is the best of both worlds
