The magnet is strong and holds the Blink camera in place easily against a ferrous material.The ball joint allows you to point the camera where you want to point it.

I don't have a Blink camera, but decided to see if I could repurpose this magnet mount for another security camera. I could not. However, that's my fault, nobody else's. I am glad to report though that the magnet is really strong and I bet any owners of the proper camera would be very happy with it. I'm determined to find a use for it still!

I hooked up a Gen 4 blink outdoor camera to this. Clicked into place as you'd expect it to.Was a very powerful magnet that attached to the side of my building with no issues and even put it on the frame which is less wide with metal material and it's holding strong, even in heavy wind.Very adjustable, as you can see in my pic, you can pivot down 90 degrees. Simple collar ring that tightens it down once you have it where you want it.I only wish more things were made out of metal, would make installing cameras a breeze.

The magnets are strong and no need to worry about it coming detached from a metal surface. There are 6 round magnets encased in the base (you can see the outline of the magnets) at the outer edge that help secure the mount.You can adjust the mount to different angles for FOV. Similar to other mounts like this there is a notch, and this is the only way you can get to a 90-degree angle. Be aware that the adjustable bracket has a screw down function. You adjust the angle and then the screw down base to lock it into place. The build quality is excellent and there is no sag once you look the angle.The major drawback is they use the same snap in bracket as the OEM bracket. Which is an Achilles heel because the OEM bracket easily detaches from the camera. That is my concern with this bracket that if outside and not mounted in a covered area that heavy wind, rain, or worse snow could detach the camera.

I have an area where I wanted to mount a Blink camera for a while now but couldn't because I can't use any hardware to install it. This is perfect. The strength of the magnet was much more than what I had expected and I'm really happy with that. It's strong!!The overall quality of the mount is good and I'm able to tighten down the ball/swivel to the right angle without feeling like I need to really crank on it like I have with other kinds of mounts.I need to order a couple more!
