I broke my ankle and after being released to therapy and requiring a can for a while, I picked this one because of some of the reviews. It kinda looks like a bit different but it does help your walking gait. I believe it helped me recover more quickly and provided better walking stability. I keep it around for times when my ankle acts up in the cold but I really am glad I picked this one to put me on the road to recovery. It truly does what it says it will do. The therapist I was working with had never seen anything like it but when she tried it out, she said it was a great walking cane and could see why I chose it specifically to help in my walking. She noted I recovered quickly with its use and graduated from the cane faster than most. If you are one thinking my ankle must have not been injured too bad, I have a plate with 10 screws on the right side of the right ankle and 2 screws on the left side of the right ankle. 8 weeks of non-weight bearing. I am thankful for choosing this cane. It helped out a great deal.

Since my teen-age years, I have had a mild thorasic scoliosis but was able to play competitive golf and tennis through college and thereafter. At age 50, I was diagnosed with a dopamine-reponsive dystonia which has led to overall weakness of all muscles of my body. This was accompanied by greater difficulty playing golf and tennis and probably contributed to damage to the meniscus cartilage of the right knee requiring cartilage surgery. As I continued to age, I developed a notable kyphosis. At age 74, I had a fall while rock climbing that resulted in further instability of my right knee and ankle and a right foot drop from damage to the peroneal nerve as it runs over the head of the right fibula. I am now in my early 80s and have greater weakness of strength in my lower extremities requiring use of a cane for walking and navigating stairs. I tried several canes in the past, and the 3 foot cane is by far the best cane that I have ever tried and is truly a real game-changer. The cane is very adjustable in length. The handles are well shaped to confirm to the hand and the molded rubber foot of the cane allows greater stability and control of walking than any cane that I have previously used. Support for the cane by its supplier is wonderful. I purchased two 3 foot canes which have inabled me to stand more upright, decrease my kyphosis, and achieve better confidence and stability while walking or standing. I strongly recommend the 3 foot cane. It has greatly benefited my walking and standing.

This cane is revolutionary. It was invented to support upright and stable walking. The most notable feature is the cane tip, which is designed to mimic a human foot. By using the original grip method of the 3rd Foot Cane (aligning the grip with the greater trochanter of the femur) and adjusting the contact angle of the cane tip, it helps the user achieve the natural, upright walking posture of the human body. Even if you can maintain balance with a traditional cane or walker, if you continue walking with poor posture, you won't be able to improve it. The 3rd Foot Cane addresses this common issue that many people face. I had elderly individuals at the daycare center where I work in Japan, as well as physical therapists, use this cane. Most of them had a positive impression of it. The target users are not only the elderly but also anyone who cannot walk with proper posture due to accidents or disabilities. I have great respect for Linda, who invented this cane, and for the surgeon involved in its development.

I really like the stability this offers but the handle is hard rubber. I had to purchase foam to wrap it because it was causing a thumb blister. They should wrap the handle in foam.

My doctor said I needed to use a cane for stability, no more falling! I have back & hip issues. I started reading and reading about different types of canes. I always do my research before I make an investment. Within 5 or less minutes I was thrilled with how I felt using this cane. I was standing upright and feeling secure looking ahead and not down and which I couldn’t do with the cane I was using which was about 13 years old. The real test was going to the beach over the weekend. I couldn’t believe how I could walk through the sand. I was so happy I could have cried. I walked around collecting shells and rocks and I would never have been able to do that without my cane. I have talked up my cane with people at work and church and I have helped others. The 5 people I referred all LOVE them. Nothing to hesitate about, you will not be disappointed, worth every penny. Elated walker in CT
