Korg KR11 Portable Rhythm Box w/ 16 velocity-sensitive Pads, and built-in Speaker

Acoustic solo performer. The KR 11 works great and makes me sound like a 'band'. The seller was the only one to have them in stock, so very happy about that. Not even Korg or Sweetwater had them. Hot item!

This machine uses batteries and a plug-in. The ac must be ordered separately. I've only used the pre-programmed drum patterns so far but they sound great. It's very lightweight, portable. I chose this model over many others due to its simplicity and, most of all, easily readable tempo window.

This little drum machine is awesome. I used to have a Roland 505 drum machine that I liked. This machine reminds me of that one, except simpler... cleaner and cheaper. . Lots of good usable beats and a decent sound on the drums when put thru my PA. You can't chain beats, except by footswitch, or change the volume within the drumkit, except when you use 'tap' function, but the mix is usually pretty good anyway. I just got this thing a few days ago and I'm having a ball moving thru the different genres. I'll figure out how get the most out of it, but really...it's pretty much plug and play. The ability to tap or dial in a bpm is priceless.

This product may be great for a 15 year old just starting out in music, but for this price, and for the rest of us, our money can be better spent somewhere else…
