Excellent SMSL
The media could not be loaded. BT works very well with no lag. Volume is loud to my BW 601 s3 speakers. Surprisingly the unit never heats up - even after hours of use. Sound wise, if your speakers are on stands this amp probably outperforms the Denon dab41. Connects well to Sony Bravia but allow PCM setting on tv sound menu for hdmi connection. Great for tv. Excellent for music. Suggest you add a better quality hdmi cable as the one supplied is not highly shielded. If you have optical or hdmi arc out from tv this unit will dramatically improve the sound-scape for your main lounge. At £90 it’s a terrific deal plus you don’t even need to use the subwoofer if you use larger speakers with a good frequency response. The chip used is best in class. Go for it!

Good quality amplifier
I think this is a great little amplifier. I use it to feed the output of a TV into a couple of good speakers, it's perfect for that. It even has a subwoofer output, haven't used that yet, and plenty of EQ control.Great quality, amazing for the price.

Works fine but the remote has very limited functions
Works well but the instruction/installation sheet wasn't very detailed. The remote is very basic and some adjustments can't be done with the remote, you have to use the main dial on the unit. But the amp had what I needed (optical) to connect to my tv so overall I'd say I was satisfied with it for the price.

Decent sound quality
Nice small design but provides decent sound quality in smaller space - connection via bt works well no delay or drop in quality - cant get connection via hdmi to our samsung qled tv. Instructions provided are quite poor and I had to look up some YT videos to work out how to set it up

Great soundbar alternative for 2.1 setup with passive subwoofer
Perfect alternative to a soundbar for 2.1 setup. It's easy to convert a subwith a broken amp into a passive sub, but it's not easy to find a 2.1 amplifier with a remote control. This meets that perfectly. It links up easy with my TV over hdmi. It looks sleek. It is powerful enough for normal volume levels. Yeah the settings are a bit weird but you only need to figure those out once. It lets my partner use the 2.1 setup without having to fiddle about with settings. Bluetooth connection works well. It's not there to provide chest shaking bass but hey thats not what I bought it for! Make sure to set the audio format to PCM on your TV to get proper 2 channel audio output sent to the amp, and make sure to plug into the ARC (or eARC) labelled hdmi port on your TV. Works a charm!

ARRIVED DEFECTIVE
Great sounding amp, I purchased (AS NEW), but arrived with a missing DIGIAL PORT COVER. So the cable does not click into place. (Works if I hold the optical cable in place) so the device is fine, probably the person who returned it broke the port cover.Reached out to the company but zero reply! I cannot be bothered with the hassle to return so will maybe use one day if I ever purchase a second pair of book speaker, but with analogue cables.

Epic search has ended
I bought these since my 10 year-old Maxell soundbase died, whence we were exposed to the annoying thinness and screechiness of our TV's in-built audio. I had tried a well-reviewed soundbar but had to return it since it's treble range was irritating wasmore irritating than the TV's own audio. The epic search continued and yielded results when I discovered that many people were praising the benefits of using a HDMI/ARC enabled amplifier instead of a soundbar. I wondered then if such an amp would allow my faithful old Mission 760i bookshelf speakers to resume service again. This new inspiration changed the direction of my odyssey but morale dipped when I saw the price of these amps - hundreds of pounds into the thousands. However, great joy went up when I stumbled on this tiny amp. I placed an order, still wary of the disappointment of the returned soundbar - the fact that the wee amp had only 27 reviews was, at first uninspiring, before I realised that not as many people are prepared to be aware of the possibility of going the amp/speaker/HDMI combination.Anyway, the amp has arrived and turned out to be the saviour I'd been hoping for. It sounds great - can't imagine needing any more bass (I have it a lower level), mid-range is perfect and the treble has ended our treble-hell. The only criticism is that the instructions struggle to beat trial and error; also, the text is so incredibly tiny - this great wee amp deserves better. Some tips:1. This amp will connect your TV directly to your speakers without any other equipment.2. If you have an HDMI/ARC enabled TV, this amp will allow control of volume through the TV remote.3. When selecting the input mode, select ARC if you want to go the HDMI/ARC route.4. At night, I turn off the TV and amp at the mains without turning off the amp via its remote - it means, when the TV is turned on the following day, the amp kicks in automatically.5. The amp remote doesn't come with batteries but rechargeable ones work.

Fantastic little AV Amp when paired with good speakers.
I had a couple of Denon speakers not in use. Paired now with Sony 65” OLED via HDMI ARC and this Amp. Best 90 quid spent in a while! Nice big sound stage etc. Worth every penny.Nick
