Beartooth Black smooth comb raising kit - neoprene gun stock guard with inserts

Don't know why I hesitated when buying this item. It does seem a tad expensive for what it is, but it's saving grace is that it works an absolute treat. I used it to raise the comb on my Remington Wingmaster which I had previously added a slip on butt pad to increase length of pull. This product has made the whole thing look better by covering the new pad.It comes with many different sized pads which can be placed together for a finely tuned fit. The pads are not tacky but will not slip apart once held under the neoprene cover. It does take a while to get it adjusted properly but the end result is great, certainly cheaper than getting your stock altered.Gun fit problem sorted for less than £30 !!! It's a no brainer people !!!!!!

This actually worked surprisingly well, though a little compression of the cheek pad inserts means you may want to try more than just your initialSelection of the five different pads included.Using mine on a target rifle where an inset cheekpiece would have been difficult to locate. It also protects the stock from bumps and is comfortable in all weathers- though it hasn't been out in heavy rain yet(thankfully).

Good quality riser would recommend it

The inserts should be curved to fit the butt, but these are flat and look slightly clumsey.

I have these on both my rifles. I knowntheyre designed for shotguns but, they will stretch over a rifle stock if required.I have a slim face so, in order to achieve correct eye alignments, I fit these. They're great! A but of a faff to install but hundreds of pounds cheaper than having your stock adjusted.

Seems to work but hard to put on

This was not the easiest task fitting this to my Sako 75 synthetic stock, but, It works and it fits really well.Very pleased with the result, even more so when I eventually completed it.

Excellent. Acts as a comb raiser and a cheek guard. Very tight to fit.
