The media could not be loaded. This is the second brand of socket fan I have purchased and will update my review after I’ve been using it for a while. The first brand went bad after a couple of months (both started making awful motor sounds). So far this fan appears to be a much better quality in terms of weight and the remote. I like the multiple fan speeds and the three different light types, white, warm, and middle. The remote also makes a lot more sense than the other brand.My one issue is this. The fan spins counterclockwise…. Opposite of the direction needed to screw it into the socket. This means, if there is a wobble, the fan can unscrew itself. A more secure socket fixture appears to have solved this, but I hope that overtime it does not unscrew itself. In the previous socket, it noticeably unscrewed itself and almost fell out. It doesn’t look like there is a way to change the direction of the fan, but, for the price, I would expect this.Be sure you have a solid socket fixture before using this fan.

It has three different colors of light only one brightness, no Dimmer selection. Six fan speeds with no reverse. Changes light color each time you turn your light switch off and on. Fan setting stays The same when you turn your lights switch on and off. Easy enough to go back and select settings that you want with the remote. These work great for moving the heat around in the basement from a woodburning stove or auxiliary heater for even heat from the ceiling level to the floor. Nice and quiet. The fixture beeps when it receives signal from the remote. The beep is not annoying or loud. It is just a signal to let you know it has received a command. As long as your light sockets are attached securely, and you have these screwed in snugly, they do not wobble. They are actually fairly impressive when you consider the cost of just an LED lightbulb these days. Very cost-effective. Pretty nice. I'm happy! Seems funny to say, but my feet are staying warm. That was the desired effect I bought three for my open basement with a wood burner and a pool table during winter. Will be super easy to move to other locations if I need to stay cool when working on automotive projects, etc., during the summer in the garage or shop. Might even buy more of them to help move the heat around out in the shop. I can't stand having cold feet and these definitely help circulate the heat downward. Will be putting the remote controls in plastic bags to keep them clean when my hands are dirty. It's a lot easier to throw away a couple of Ziploc's than to clean between the buttons etc.

The fan works fine on the lowest two settings. If you turn the fan to a higher setting, It then wobbles too much and makes noises. I can't recommend it.

Honestly....very surprised. This is a good product.

After 2.5 months of us the fan fell off and almost could had hurt someone. At one it point it was working fine. Later the wires started to brake and came flying down.

The media could not be loaded. Not even an entire year of use and the fan has stopped working. It just does this thing where it starts up, but then stops on repeat. The light however is still going strong.
