Resurrected a 10 year old 8' blind by only using the gear drive and s 3/16 shim to keep it level. The material in the blind was in great shape but the plastic beads on the cord disintigrated so the new gear drive is a plus. So, $12.00 vs $100.00 is a no brainer. And I only removed and replaced one end👍

They worked. I was skeptical when I ordered them. But they came and worked well. I had outdoor blinds given to me without the hardware. I bought a hook you’d screw into the wall outside, ground down the threads and use it in my cordless drill to open and close the blinds.
