My daughter loves this star. It turned out larger than expected, and it's perfect for a bedtime stuffy. This had the clearest and slowest videos of any kit I've tried. I appreciated the slower speed as it made the instructions and technique easy to follow. I also liked the softness of the yarn and the ease with which it goes through your hand. This was a perfect first project.

The videos will be your best bet at completing the bunnies if you’re a beginner like me. But also thank goodness the videos had captions because sometimes it was hard to understand her. Since I didn’t understand the terms at first, the first part (the head) came out a little Frankensteiny and with a lump at the back lol. But this was my first time ever! So I’m proud :) It was definitely challenging and took determination to see it through to the end, but I’m glad I did. I got better with practice. I’m definitely going to do the other two bunnies.I’m giving it four stars because there were some videos where I really struggled to see what the girl was doing/saying. Room for improvement :)

I haven't made one yet, but everything in the box is cute and useful, the instructions look clear, and there are lots of pictures to help beginners. I'm looking forward to making several of these cute ducks!

My grandson (11 years) recently started crocheting and loved it, the instructions were easy to follow. He had it worked up in no time. Good buy.

I ordered this crochet kit because I wanted to practice my amigurumi crochet skills, and I liked that the cute sleepy star has a nightcap.The kit comes with everything you need to make the sleepy star, including all of the yarn you will need, polyfill stuffing, stitch markers, a yarn needle, a cutting tool, and a crochet hook in the 2.5mm size. There are also 2 booklets in the box, one is a simple basics booklet with pictures and written explanations of how to do all of the basic stitches and techniques, while the other is the actual written pattern for the sleepy star. The pattern is all single crochet stitch, so it's quite a simple pattern and good for practicing basic skills. I will note that the yarn in this kit is real multi-ply yarn so it can split if you aren't careful. This kit doesn't use the no-split cord type of yarn that some beginner kits prefer. So, if you aren't used to working with splittable yarn, and/or tiny hook sizes that may prove a bit challenging.Overall, I think it's a cute kit, very well appointed, and is a fun way to practice your crochet skills!

This kit is very cool, but I've realized I'm just not going to be a crafty / needle based person. I've tried a few times to start this, even watching youtube videos. I think it's all me (operator error) and will continue to try. Maybe I need to sit with an actual person.I believe this kit can be a success with the right person, unfortunately I am not it. It did have all the colors and tools needed.

I am so happy with this kit. The yarn was good quality, the right size hook for the size of yarn and the instructions are well written. I highly recommend this kit.

Once completed this will look awesome. Issue I have been the instructions. The aren't the best. I actually had to have someone (she crochets constantly) make short videos for me of the different steps. A plus is that it comes with practice yarn, which I thought was great!Since this is a kit for beginners and the instructions are wonky it only earned a 3/5.
