After an ankle being immobilized while healing from a torn tendon, a supportive brace such as this is perfect to wear during activities until strength is rebuilt.The brace is well made, easy to adjust and fits well.

The product is very well made and of quality materials and workmanship. The support brace is intended to help protect your ankle from injury by supporting it during sporting activity and everyday work. The brace is very comfortable to wear all day as it is lightweight and allows you to tighten the fit with the knob at the top of the brace and the (2) Velcro straps at the bottom that criss cross. It secures the ankle as to prevent any movement other than natural movements that may cause injury. It is very easy to put on and will work in most any shoe or boot plus it comes in (2) sizes, medium and large. The brace will work with either your right or left foot depending on your needs. Overall I would definitely recommend the brace to anyone with weak ankles or history of injuries as the brace will support your ankle to prevent any further injury or help to begin the healing process of an already injured ankle. As with any medical device consult you MD or medical professional prior to using. The price point is on track with other braces of similar style and type of protection given.

I can't stand on it very long. It hurts the bottom of my foot. It's made well but there's too much material under the foot to be comfortable. However, if you are resting with your leg up, this could be used for temporary relief.It get 3 stars because it can still be useful when you aren't on your feet to long.

The Velcro strap does not stay attached after a week and a half and I use it for my ankle

Excellent support for an ankle recovering from injury. Not a maximum strength brace, but comfortable and a good value. Have had very good results from other Welnove products, so not surprised at this one's good performance. Recommended.

I will give this brace 2 stars for its mechanical design, material quality, and the fitting design, but unfortunately the maximum performance as stated by the manufacturer falls completely short as a MAXIMUM supportive ankle brace.I wouldn’t recommend this brace for any activity other than for use around the house, or if you’re desiring some support while sleeping.I would not recommend this brace for strenuous activities or exercises, as I myself didn’t even trust walking up and down my stairs. The side metal support springs are flimsy and flexible, which does not provide the proper ankle support performance as they state for maximum support.Lastly, and though this may be due to the overpronation of my feet, the part of the brace that is on the bottom of my foot is quite uncomfortable because it “digs” into my arch. Though with that being said I would still use for around the house and support while sleeping. But because I am in search of a brace with maximum stabilizing side support for work purposes, and day-to-day activities I did return.
