This is a well balanced, comprehensive analysis of the USA's health care system. The authors cite numerous studies and show consequences of policies. Incentives matter, and there are no simple solutions. Even experts will learn a lot from this book.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. Simple to read - even fun! - but not simplistic. Highly recommendable from my POV.

This book is an excellent introduction for people with little knowledge of health economics in the United States. The many examples are easy to understand, making the book a breeze to read. Even those already well-versed in health economics will find value here, as each chapter incorporates recent research.

Best book on health economics that I have read so far.
