Understanding Politics and Government

Great book for children who are first learning about government and politics. I’m using it for my 12 and 14 year old, and it’s easy to understand and wonderful pics to go along with it. We are learning so much!

Love the layout! Very digestible for my 11 year old

I am an amazon customer for 10+ years. I have never posted a review before. This book and other similar ones by USBORNE go above and beyond customer expectation. Very hard and lengthy concepts have been explained in a very digestable manner in pictorial format. I am amazed and so grateful that there are kid books on adult topics like money, politics, business etc. A must have for parents looking to make their children aware beings.

I bought this for my 10 year old and he found it to be a very easy read and very interesting. The content was well organized and the illustration was perfect for his age group.

I think that IN MY OPINION it’s more for kids

I bought this for my daughter but ended up really enjoying it myself! It's been a long time since my high school government class, so this is a good review of how political systems work.

Even an adult can enjoy this book!

Great book for my 9 year old learning about the govt.

Rarely is a book written so concisely, clearly and comprehensively; all the while with humour and wit, turning a drab subject into a captivating delight for the eyes. While the book will be a great introduction to the workings of the political systems of the world for my pre-teen child, it is also a most engaging and entertaining round up / brush up of the erstwhile life-sucking civics lessons of my school days. A must-read for every child and adult alike. This book should be made a textbook for middle school introduction to politics in my opinion.

I can't say enough about how fantastic this book is. Such an engaging way to learn about political structures around the world. I used this to teach my 5th grader and realized that adults should be reading this, too!

Rien à dire sur les livres des éditions usborne. Ce sont des merveilles a ouvrir. Et des contenus de qualité. Bien adapté aux enfants mais aussi aux adultes. Les illustrations sont vraiment chouette. Personnellement nous avons une énorme collection de leur livres. Je les recommande à 1000%
