The product did not come with any instructions or power lead so the projection light on batteries will only stay on for the 5 seconds as noted when you press the light button - a bit of a waste of time as the screen lights up as well to show the time at the same time.The screen when on batteries is very very dull and looks off.I did try it on a 4.5volt supply and the projection light then stays on and you cannot turn off but the screen is also fully illuminated as well making the projection a bit pointless. Unfortunately inserting a permanent supply resets the clock time and date back to factory settings (even if batteries are left in) and then it resets again if the supply is removed.Bought as a present for Christmas and very disappointed and have hence asked for a refund.

I have given the 4-star rating overall, despite being disappointed with the product, because "Eioo Tech's" rate of responsiveness, agreeing a refund and the final outcome where of the highest standard. I May not be able to rate the product 5 star but "Eioo Tech" as a supplier could not be faulted in my experience.
