I already love most elf products but this eyeshadow primer is amazing! I noticed my eyeshadow stays on all day until I literally wash my face before bed. Best price I found was definitely here on Amazon. I will continue to buy this product.

At the age of 58 I tried eye primer for the first time after seeing influencers on YouTube talk about how it helps the redness on the eyelid and helps eye shadow last longer. I've had several things from elf that I've really liked. This goes on smoothly, doesn't show, & really does work to help my shadow last all day.

This review is after 2 months of usage, and contrasts with, for example, the Milani primer. Compared to other primers, this one does not have talc, which I wanted to try for a less gritty texture. As a result, it is slightly more prone to creasing, but it has a wet texture similar to concealer, which makes it perform slightly better for shimmers. Overall, I like the price per quantity. Since I wear a lot of shimmers, I will consider a repurchase, but I'm not sure yet.

My eyeshadow always creased after a few hours of wear. Tried this and now my eyeshadow lasts a while 11 hour shift. Love it!

I've used primers previously and this one felt empty when I got it. Could barley get any out. Goes on wet and you have to let dry before putting eye shadow on or it doesn't go on well. I wasn't impressed. Keep looking.

For years I used L'Oreal eyeshadow primer but unfortunately they discontinued it a couple years ago; since then I've tried to find a suitable replacement - this isn't it! Being at this price point I wasn't expecting perfection but I also wasn't expecting my eyelids to burn about an hour after applying this product. It was the only thing on my lids, so no bad reaction/compatibility issue with another product. I don't know what's in this but I've never reacted this way to anything I've ever used before, including primer, shadows, moisturizers, etc. Maybe I got a tube from a bad production lot or something but this is unusable!
