I want to preface my review by addressing some of the other reviews. I found this light to be perfectly bright enough for intricate work. My grandmother uses it to examine coins and she loves it. The light, however, is not lamp bright and I don't believe it was intended to be used as a lamp. So, I guess keep that in mind when you're ordering. It is perfect for its intended use.I love intricate crafts and detailed reading, but I've always struggled with small print and fine details. Regular magnifiers were often blurry or poorly lit, leading to eye strain and frustration. I bought this for my mom who has macular degeneration. It worked great at first and she loved it! Fast forward to only 2-3 weeks later and the light went out. There's no information anywhere on how to replace parts, and I tried contacting the seller and Amazon and heard nothing! So I threw it away and I just bought a different one from another company. I hope that one works better. Total waste of money! I buy on Amazon all the time, and to hear nothing back when the product only worked for 2 weeks is unacceptable!

This magnifying glass floor lamp is simply a savior. The lens is very large, covering a wide area. It can clearly see several lines of text at a time, which has greatly improved the efficiency. The lighting design is particularly meticulous, focusing on the text. The surroundings are not too bright, thus avoiding visual fatigue. The adjustable brightness function is very practical. It can be dimmer at night without being dazzling

My dad has low vision and loves this. The light is bright for reading or any other task. He uses the magnifier and light to work on small object such as his hearing aids or read. Very happy with this.

I bought this lighted magnifying glass as a gift for my mom who has fairly advanced loss of vision. The light was easy to set up and overall it feels fairly stable. The light is easy to turn on and off. They did not include an electric block for the USB so we had to borrow one at first. The gooseneck works well and is tall enough that we were able to position the light over her kitchen table. With her glasses on and the magnifier light on, she is able to see small writing fairly well and this magnifier does come in handy when she needs to sign papers. The 30x part is pretty small so I doubt she'll use that much.
