So, please look at the images I have provided.Firstly, these light get hot, really hot. This unfortunately melts the lens. I purchased two of these, and the same problem occurred on both lights. Now this happened under normal use.I contacted the seller here, and, they agreed this was unacceptable in their product, they apologised profusely and agreed to send me two new lights. So, just when you think you got things sorted, over two weeks later and no lights had turned up. I contacted amazon and unfortunately, for to many reasons amazon would not send out new lights. So back to the seller. They were genuinely unaware of this, and in fact, they ensured a new pair of lights were sent out immediately.I cannot fault the customer service of these guys, they are polite and friendly and genuinely want to help you. The lights, well, they are great lights, with great colour and tones, but, the heat and the melting of the lens is not acceptable. The ones I had dropped lumps of molten plastic into my marine tanks, which contain very expensive marine fish and corals. Thankfully all survived the ordeal.My tip here is this, yes the lights are good in the way they give you a great light and variances of colour and depth of color, but, and it's a big but, the melting lenses make these lights dangerous.

What a fantastic light for a nano tank came packaged very well and easy to install, I've chosen this light for a fluval edge thats been turned into a saltwater tank and it fits the bill perfectly.The spread of light from it is great at 90° and the ability to ramp up each of the 4 channels individually is a good touch which and works well from the remote provided especially as the sensor is in the ballast rather than on the light. PAR levels from the light are fantastic and i could see no problem with the light being able to handle sps corals. The light is also silent thanks to the fanless design. The only extra the light could do with is a bilt in timer this is the only negative I have for the light. Overall what a brilliant piece of kit for the bargin price !!!

An excellent light if you want a cost effective solution. Not quite the same quality as a Kessil in terms of clarity and definition which gives you that unrivalled 'sunshine type shimmer,' but at £60 it's a no-brainer and certainly a keeper. It renders colour very nicely (similarly to the AI Prime) you have control over 4 colour channels which allows a range of options/ or combinations for achieving fairly specific colour temperatures. Excellent job on the sleek clean looking design if that's a point to consider- very pleasing to the eye aesthetically- neater than my kessil A160WE. Looks beautiful on a 45cm cube- just right. Packs a punch at 30 watts- side to side looks brighter than my Kessil on full power which is 40 watts.Can't really see any flaws overall so hopefully it stands to the test of time. Construction and material wise, much better quality than expected.

Very good value for money took about 20 mins to set up incredibly bright, daylight effect.I would recomend this light for professional use. Shows up fish colours well with out looking artificial.It does have a fan built in to aid cooling, i can barley hear it if i get close and the trickle sound of my tanks filter is louder then the fan.Very simple on and off switch with allows it to be plugged into a timer there is no sunrise effect of moonlight but that suits me fine as both can cause algea problems.I havent had it long enough to judge plant growth but i think the plants will love it as it does have rgb spectrum and par is incredibly high.It does with a goose neck fitting to clamp to the tank and also a ceiling mount if required.I have this fitted to a 80l fluvel flex and one is more then enough for excellent coverage although i would recommend you have one light for every 100l.I would rate this a 5 star product as im impressed with the quality vs price ratio.

I'm leaving a review for the pixie 30 light. I have a 100 ltr tank and it lights the whole thing. You can make the light brighter or dimmer. The light settings takes a little getting use to. I thought reading the reviews I would need 2 lights. I took the risk and brought one light. One light was all that's needed. It's very good quality. Nicely packaged. Fast delivery. I have no corals in this tank. But I have no doubt it would grow soft corals, mushrooms ect. I will try to grow some lps corals and post a update on their survival. It's a lovely looking light. Has a bit of weight to it. Dosent look or feel cheap. Very happy with this purchase. This is it on blue light. Very nice ans bright

Got these for a little nano tank. Good sturdy materials and quality. Easy to assemble. spectrum is ok for fish - corals don’t do so well.. Few of important points:1. This comes with a step down transformer plug so don’t worry about comments about dangerous 13 amp plugs2. Remote seems a little flimsy but the integrated controls on the electrical cord will probably be all you need.3. These aren’t fabulously bright so won’t kick it for a large tank - mine is just a tiny 30l bedside ultra nanoOverall good quality and value. Would definitely recommend for fish but not corals. You can’t lose to be honest if are in the UK you have a statutory 12 months guarantee on electrical goods
