This is not a Lego, so do not expect Lego support when your kit comes with two bags of one number and is missing the bag for another number. Amazon allowed me to send the kit back and sent me another one to build this bird. The build is a bit tricky as the wings do in fact flap when the lever is turned, but that is part of what makes it so very cool. Lego makes nothing for Faux so if you want him you will need to get this kit. The kit itself builds and looks like a Lego. The instructions are a little confusing as the book is in black and white, but the bricks are all in reds, golds, and yellows, with a few black and grey mixed in. Still, it looks amazing when it is finished!

I was very impressed with this building block set and the stature and rise of the Phoneix was perfect. I really liked the coloration of the blocks and the vibrant coordination of the colors was made perfect for this build. The blocks attached well to each other and held their position throughout each set and the assembly process was simple to follow. The instructions were well made and guided me through each step of the build without any problems. This is a quality building kit and it has a high value for the money. Very pleased.

Bought for a grandson, good challeging puzzle

I ended up gifting this to my little one as a prize for doing certain chores around the house and he loves it. He's into mystical creatures now, so this was a great addition to his collection. The Phoenix is such a deep red color with beautiful gold and yellow accents. It is a decent sized bird, too. It includes a really cool stand that he had to build to place the phoenix on when he's displaying it. He does play with it a lot and sometimes the wings fall off, but it's easy for him to snap them back together. The pieces are compatible with his Lego blocks. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, although he did need help every now and then. We didn't have any issues with missing pieces. This would also be really cool for a Harry Potter fan, because it does look like the phoenix from the movies.

While the quality is not Lego level its pretty good and was a fun challenge to get assembled.
