Absolutely beautiful body, attention to detail, but totally derailed at the top.
The body and paint are fantastic. The headlights and logos are beyond expectations for a matchbox car. The proportions of the 992 body are also the best I’ve seen in 1:64.But the roof.A 911 targa has silver or black B pillar with a body color roof. For some reason, Matchbox decided the entire roof canopy should be clear and unpainted. It looks so bizarre to have such a beautifully detailed body and then just have them give up on the top.I still recommend the model. It’s the best 992 you can buy in 1:64 today. However, if you care about accuracy, plan on doing just a little bit of painting to fix it up.
