Q: Do I still need a water softener if my water is hard?

Yes. Our WGB32BM whole house water filter does not reduce hardness. We recommend installing a water softener, such as the iSpring WCS45KG model, before this system if your TDS level is above 300 ppm.

Q: What contaminants can this system remove?

Iron (< 3 ppm), manganese (< 1 ppm), turbidity, visible particulate matter, sand, silt, dirt, rust, chlorine, taste, and odor

Q: Is this system suitable if my iron level exceeds 3 ppm or manganese level surpasses 1 ppm?

No. For higher iron (>3 ppm) or manganese (>1 ppm) levels, explore our WCFM500K or WCFM400K whole house water filter systems.

Q: Can I install this system outdoors?

We recommend indoor installation in a well-ventilated area, shielded from elements and direct sunlight. Consider water leakage protection. Outdoor installation requires insulation for frost, sun, and waterproofing for both unit and pipes.

Q: Can I use this system if my water flow is from left to right?

Yes, you can. However, please note that the inlet/outlet marking on the system is fixed, so you will need to flip the machine head to accommodate this setup. To do this, simply unscrew the screws on the machine head and flip it.
