Excellent product. My only criticism is that I wish it was made clearer that one needs to separately buy a futon mattress cover to complete the set. After reading a review that suggested this product would only be suitable for sleeping on for a few nights only, I was skeptical it, but my guest who is staying with us for 6 weeks absolutely loves it. Two people have been comfortably sleeping on this for 2 weeks now and prefer it to the luxury airbed that they slept on when they stayed with us the last time. Recommended... but be sure to order a futon mattress cover at the same (mattress covers cost approximately £80 +/- £30).

Very poor quality

I would not use this product as a sofa bed. It is not sturdy. You can't even sit on it and it breaks. Not a good buy. Want my money back and will have to find out how I go about this. This product is not sturdy and looks like it will break easily and it did.

Overall the product itself is fine. The mattress is nice and thick which makes it very comfortable and you can't feel the slats through the mattress. However, when I initially ordered it, a part of the wood on the backrest portion was split. I asked for a replacement, and in fairness, received it very quickly (2 days after raising the initial issue, the day after getting a response) - however it was for a single and I had ordered a double. Luckily, the part that was broken on the double could actually be replaced by the same piece on the single, but for people who don't enjoy DIY that probably would not be very useful. I do think if I'd raised the issue I would have received a replacement by the time I needed it, but still not ideal.

I purchased this for my kids friends sleep-over.easy to put together.a steal for the price.surprisingly a very comfortable as futon-sofa as well as a futon-bed.ideal for adults who like to have a mid day nap too ;-)

The wood is very good quality. The mattress I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable thing I've sat on but it's not bad. After a while even the kids complain that they can feel the slats and it hurts their behinds. If I fall asleep on it while it's still up as a sofa, it's comfortable. Out like a bed, no. I need to get a thicker mattress for it. But that's my personal opinion. The mattress has already gone flat. All round, it's good value for money and I'd buy it again.
