The ones in the package that had not been repackaged worked well. I had 2 of the 10 that had been previously opened and neither one would work as the ground screw had been stripped out in both of them rendering them useless for GFCI.

We just remodeled a mobile home and replaced all outlets and switches. This home needed 3 GFI outlets and this package was perfect for our needs. I priced them locally and would have paid the same price for one. Thanks so much!

This receptacle has to have the worst design for connections that I have ever used. The screws are loose, except when you tighten it when finished. That means that they will go in and out very easily depending on which way gravity or some other force is acting on them. To make things worse, there is almost no space on the back side of the screw to fit the wire in around it. So, you have to hold the receptacle at an odd angle, and hope the screw fully releases so the maximum amount of space is there, and then you have to somehow get the wire loop into a space that is way too small. And remember, the screw is loose, so any pressure you put on the wire to squeeze it in just pushes the screw down preventing you from getting the wire underneath it.If there was just a little bit of room behind the screw, and the screw was not free to move around, it would make a world of difference.As it is, I am forced to use the holes in the back, which is not the best way to connect an outlet as the wires are more prone to come lose thatway.Oh, and the outlet is extremely deep. You better have a lot of space in your box.

If you wire these incorrectly, the light won't work, and you know you did it wrong. Instructions were great, despite being a chinese product, they seemed to have been written by a native english speaker, and were very thorough.

Only problem is you cant get 2 wires (looped) on ground screw. You need a "pigtail" wire with a wire nut for 2+ ground wires. If you remove the ground screw, it will NOT go back on, do not remove. Leviton or CH quality at much lower cost, however.

Way better than the crap at menards

The outlets function just fine, its the installation that was a pain in the ass. The screws to tighten down the wires keep slipping back into their slots and do not stay stationary, and so when you turn it to attach the wires, they fall back in and you have to hold them back up in position with a screw driver and then slide the wire under. Also the plastic housing around where the screws are for the wires are way too close to the screws making it very difficult to get the wires under bc of the gauge size of the wires. Had to use chip away some of the plastic around the screws to be able to allow the wire to wrap around and be tightened down properly. Something that should only take about 5 min max per outlet, took 15-20min per outlet bc of the screws that kept slipping.

Cheap. And. Works

Work great. Green light always states in when it had power, whether you trip it or not, which is s but weird. Good value
