I only used this attached to my drill a handful of times but seemed durable, easy to use, lightweight and easy to attach. Did as it said it will do. Great product.

Just used this today actually for the first time and what a great way to create the holes to plant flowers. Definitely a lot easier and much quicker. Used it with my 3/8” cordless drill and worked great.

Both augers work well , the only reason I have this 4 stars is because the longer auger comes in two pieces vs the one piece look in the pictures. This makes it much more likely to disconnect if you have to reverse the drill. I had to really tighten the two sections with large wrenches to ge fit tight enough to where the drill wasn’t able to disable the parts when in reverse

Easy to hook to your drill and makes digging holes simple.

This does the job, assuming you're not trying to auger hard clay, but instead decent soil that isn't overly compacted. Also, don't just jam it in the dirt and pull the trigger fully on your cordless drill. Go slow, don't push down hard, and let the auger do the work. You'll get the hang of it once you see the success come from not trying to muscle it.

Made planting larger shrubs and trees so much more easier and efficient.

It is strong and sturdy but the tip isn't good for drilling into hard dirt. We had to use a 3/4 hole saw to start the hole before we used the auger to make the hole for the tree plants we were planting. It would have been nice to be able to use one tool vs two.

This little gadget is a real work-horse. Results will depend entirely on the power of your drill, but this is a high-quality tool!

I have 2 - 3 inches of soil and then rocks. These augers are definitely helpful and faster than digging hundreds of holes by hand. Unfortunately, both augers broke. Even though the hex shape fits snug in the drill chuck, with all the stones the hex eventually severed from the auger. As pictured, the 3x12 auger broke off after ~40 holes. I also included an image of a sample of rocks from a few holes. Ranging in size from 0.5in to 3in. The smaller auger was better, getting through ~250+ holes before the same thing happened. I would consider getting just the smaller 1.6x9in auger again because it was much faster than digging individual holes.

Much easier than digging with a garden trowel or the old bulb diggers. Much more accurate as well.
