This product is appropriate for both regular and HE machines. Follow the machine instructions and don't use too much of it in the HE washers. I have been using it for years, but it is no longer stocked by any of our local stores, so I have to get it on-line. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only product I can use that gets my whites clean, get everything else bright and fresh, and doesn't break me out in a rash at the same time. None -- and I mean NONE -- of the other products will do those same two things for me.

Best detergent for someone like me who has extra sensitive skin
Where has my Cheer Free gone? It isn't in any stores anymore. This is the only detergent that doesn't give me the scratchies or a rash! I hope they aren't discontinuing it!

I used this product for years, and loved it. I have sensitive skin, and this got my clothes clean and never caused rashes. The product was recently changed by adding a color guard (going by the label), and as soon as I started using the new version my kids both got hives all over their bodies.

Great product
great detergent, have used this for many years. Have tried others along the years but always went back to cheer as it just washed my clothes better without harsh ingredients on my sensitive skin.

This is the only detergent I can use. Used it for years. Love the cheer free because there is nothing in there that can bother you.

Cheer Free is great for anyone with allergies to other detergents.
Cheer was a detergent my Mom used and when I started having allergies to the fragrances, it was a natural fit for the family and I continue to prefer Cheer Free to most other detergents. It’s not stocked in all stores like Tide, making Amazon a perfect fit for me.

Great laundry detergent for sensitive people.
Totally love this detergent. No heavy perfume or other additives to irritate my sensitive skin. So glad Amazon have it as it’s hard to find.

great for baby clothes
I started using this detergent 20 years ago and still love it. I have tried others but find that they bother my skin and sometimes stain my clothes. Now that I have twins I use it to watch their clothes too. I tried the baby detergents but they were just too expensive. I have had no trouble with using this for the babies even though they have sensitive skin.
