Really easy to install and works really good
Works perfectly so far…. I would recommend to take pictures of an old compressor before disabling it… because my husband had really hard time to install the new compressor, until he figured it out that he was trying to install it upside down 😅😅😅….. after he tuned it the right way it literally took him 5 minutes to assemble it all ( I’ve helped to hold it in place 😅)…. I would really recommend this compressor…. It works…

Low quality product
I purchased this item less than a year ago and a couple of months ago started to fail. I tried to see if it is a warranty, but it is none. I tried to reach the manufacturer to see if they recognized their product and exchange it for a new one. No answer. I will not buy this product again.

Works on 2007 GL450
Looks like similar quality to the original part. Easy to install. Works very well, it gets up to pressure well within the spec on the guided test in the Mercedes Star diagnostic computer (you don't need that to do the install though). The release valve is quite loud compared to the original Mercedes part. I've had it in for several months and its working fine.

Air Intake port on wrong side (have to re-route line)
Unit looks almost identical to factory, but the air inlet port is on the opposite side of the pump from the stock. It was not a huge deal, but it required me to remove the air inlet line from the mount it was on and move it to be able to hook up.The unit seems to work fine, but it is MUCH louder than the factory compressor. I could not hear the factory compressor when it kicked in if the vehicle was running. This replacement unit is very noticeable. As it should't kick in much it may be OK, but it does not convey the sense of luxury that you would expect from a Mercedes. I may decide to replace with a factory compressor at a later date and keep this for a spare. Time will tell.In all though, it seems to do what it is intended to do. Time will tell if it holds up OK. I suspect many of the people complaining that the pump didn't last long have other leaks in the system contributing to a premature failure. A new pump will mask the other leaks a system like this often has - so it is unfair to blame the pump unless you have ruled out air leaks in the rest of the system.UPDATE: Being disgusted with how loud the unit was and how often it ran I removed it to put the factory pump back in. I noticed there was a different height bracket on the OEM compressor, so I switched them and re-installed this Amazon unit. Low and behold it was no longer loud. I also discovered I had a few loose connections on the valve block. Once I tightened them all seemed to be working normally. I am leaving the item 4 stars as the air inlet port is on the wrong side, and I had to swap brackets with the factory compressor to eliminate the excessive noise - but knowing these things anyone should be able to make it work.

So far so good!
It's working in my 2007 GL320 CDI. My last pump was maxing out at 6 bar, but this new one produces 16+. It's nice that the relay comes with it.
