SOOOO happy I took a chance. This vender has these priced fairly low for the quality of the lamp. I highly suggest grabbing one before the prices rise. I have many pink lamps in my home, but was looking for a darker salt chunk I can have in my bedroom and keep the light turned all the way up without being disturbed in my sleep by the light. ***Remember, to get the air quality/health benefits that salt chunk HAS to be warm to the touch. The dimmer when put down low, does NOT keep the salt chunk warm, at least not in my home. Darker colored Salt lamps marketed towards bedroom use can start at $60 a pop and those are small sizes.I got the midsized lamp in grey. The color of grey is on the lighter side but when the lamp is on, I only have light shining through a small section, that I can just point torwards my wall "I DON'T have to turn this off at night while sleeping, kinda like a dim nightlight". I do keep my lamp right next to me/side of my bed though. If across the room, I don't think I would need to have the light facing the wall. Quality of the base is very nice. The socket is a fixed piece so you don't have to worry about those clamp style sockets moving around in the chunk of salt. Mine came with 2 bulbs, which is nice, but not needed for me as I buy my salt lamp bulbs in bulk on Amazon. The shape of the salt chunk is very nice too. Not sheared off on one side and it does not lean like the tower of Pisa = a very well shaped/sculpted lamp for a cheap price.I will try to add pictures later is Amazon allows, sometimes pictures go through, sometimes not, lol.Oh, forgot to mention, yes this is real salt. I always give a quick taste test to be sure when I buy mine ;)I may even buy a 2nd lamp from this vender in the largest size because it was such a nicely shaped lamp and I already have many in my home.

These lamps are nicely made and look great in this alternative gray color. I have several pink salt lamps which I still love and use, but wanted something more “neutral” to go in my bedroom and office. I think this was the perfect fit! The shapes of the lamps are similar but still have their individual characteristics. The wooden base is attractive (although I would prefer it without the branding logo on it). The dimmer is easy to use and works well. The lamps do get really warm, which is how all my salt lamps are (I think that’s part of how the effect is supposed to work, so not a problem, but may want to keep out of the reach of little ones). Came with extra bulbs, which was nice because one of the bulbs I received had a flickering defect. Really a great pair of lamps that I will be using for a long time!

The first lamp I ordered from here was a little defective, but customer service was extremely helpful in fixing the problem, and did so very quickly. The second lamp I received was beautiful and ruggedly unique, unlike the rather unexciting dome-shaped Himalayan salt lamps that you find at retail stores. The salt itself is also very high quality, meaning that it is a lot harder than other companies' gray salt rock lamps on Amazon and really resembles mounted stone when unlit. The hardness also makes the lamp less likely to break, whereas other cheaper lamps sold on Amazon may be more brittle and break more easily (personal experience). The wood base truly is real wood with beautiful dark grain that accentuates the natural salt much better than the typical bamboo, white wood, or metal stand would. Though a bit more expensive than other lamps on this site, I would definitely recommend starting off with the best instead of dabbling with the lower-priced lamps like I did, and avoid having your lamp break within a day of arrival. I feel that my initial defective lamp was a far outlier for this company and does not in any way represent them, as they truly do value the quality of your product and experience. Will purchase from this group again.

I was so excited to receive this product. The grey color looks even better in person! My only issue is that one side of it is shaved down as if someone sliced it with a knife while the rest of it is textured and natural-looking (so the flattened area really stands out). I’m just going to have to turn it so that the flat area is kind of against the wall and I won’t have to see it. Only time will tell if it actually makes a difference in air quality.

This is not what I needed, but it isn't a bad product. The color is pretty and provides some earthy tones to my room, and the wood base is attractive, even if I don't like the logo on it. Quality wise, it is the cord and light fixture that is lacking, and it isn't super poor quality. So no giant letdowns in the physical quality of the product. The incandescent bulb also gets very hot after a long time of being kept on. If an alternative exists it might be smart to swap it out.I wanted a light just bright enough to provide ambience to a kitchen counter. I was afraid of buying a pink lamp because I've heard they can be quite bright. However, this lamp is so dim that it really shouldn't be categorized as a "lamp".This lamp glows CONSIDERABLY dimmer than a single tea candle. Even in pitch black circumstances it only lights a white counter a couple of inches away from the lamp, and not really enough to tell what any objects are that are laying by it.I was essentially looking to stop burning so many candles, and I didn't want a bright light, but a lamp this size should at least compare to a small candle.I may end up taking the light out and just keeping the rock in the room.
